About
I'm addicted to visual beauty.

I see myself as a visual narrator, a storyteller without words.

Always up for a challenge.

Wanted to be an artist when I grew up and thought everyone else wanted to be one too.

A million years of Art School, two art degrees (Photography and Painting) and minors in Art History and Cultural Anthropology.

Not enough time for all of the living there is too do. Priorities: family and making art.

I've had the pleasure to work with Cindy on so many levels and she has a great eye in photography. I love her style and creativity. She's been such a help to me as well and I'll always appreciate her kindness.
Cindy is one of this area's top photographers. She has a fantastic eye and is so creative. I highly recommend!
Unfortunately, we rarely get the opportunity to see the other photographers in action since nobody books two photographers for their wedding! However, after seeing Wagner Photographics at bridal shows and speaking to them about their work, we feel very comfortable that they will take great care of those we cannot take care of ourselves.
Cindy Wagner of Wagner Photographics is a true artist at her craft. Her style is unique, creative and romantic. Cindy knows her stuff for sure. She has a great personality and couples will be guaranteed a great day with her! Do yourself a favor and take the time to get to know her work!
Cindy's work speaks for itself - her images are absolutely stunning. She is an expert at capturing the moment and her work will tell the story of your wedding for years and years to come!
An exceptional visiual artist. Cindy has so many images that we love to just stare at because of how amazing they are composed. Setting the photography aside, Cindy is simply a nice person to be around.

Frequently Asked Questions for Photography
Do you offer special techniques such as hand-coloring or toning?
Great black and white and sepia tone conversions. I also love images that are offer vibrant and saturated color.

Do you have experience shooting in various lighting situations?
My first choice in lighting is alway natural and existing light for its naturalistic look and its ease and speed of use. I'm am also very skilled in the use of supplemental lighting as needed.

Is your media preference film or digital?
I love digital! I'm addicted to the instant feed back I get from using this medium. I also do have formal training (a degree in photography) in traditional film and darkroom techniques that bring an additional layer of understanding to the craft.

How many photographers do you work with?
I almost alway work with at least one other photographer. If your wedding has more than about 50 quests then it is usually in your best interest to have more then one of us getting memories into our cameras. If you have more then approximately 400 guests then you would probably benefit from a third photographer/assistant.

Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event?
You can count on me to be the main photographer at your wedding. Except in the case of some life threating event in my life or in the life of a close family member. There is always the possibility of some crazy thing happening as well that is way outside of my control like earthquake or other major disaster! Life really has no guarantees but I'll do everything in my power to be at your wedding for the whole day.

Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend?
I don not book myself for more than one wedding a day. I do book myself occasionally for more then one wedding on a weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday).

Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?
I have numerous wedding photographer friends and many that I recommend for clients when I am already booked. If some pressing disaster took me away from your wedding day then I would do everything in my power to find a photographer friend (one of the ones I recommend) to replace me. I also belong to four national photography trade groups that could also be of service to us if we needed additional resources.

What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?
I usually shoot with two Nikon pro cameras and an assortment of Nikon lens.

Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction?
I also bring backup equipment of all kinds for anything that could snap, crackle, or pop.

What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
I don't really need to take much in the way of breaks. Feed me or allow me to eat when you eat. Every now and then I'll need to find the ladies room like the rest of humanity.

I provide wedding photography services at no additional charge for up to one hundred miles from my home in Batesville, Indiana. Airfare, lodging and transportation is additional for weddings beyond 100 miles.

A proof gallery usually goes up online within two weeks of your wedding. Sooner if I can.

In what format are the initial proofs offered?
The proof gallery is located on my website. There are usually about 800 proofs to view.

How long can the client keep the proofs?
The proof are usually up for three months.

Do you retain the copyright for the photos?
I retain the full copyright to the images but you receive a copy of the digital files for making prints of your own and for any other activity that you will not be making money from (like prints for family and friends). Selling the images to other is not included in you photo release.

Do you reserve the right to publish the photos?
I do reserve the right to publish your images on my website or blog. It can also be a very fun way for you to share the images with your family and friends! Sometime I use images for other advertising and promotional materials.

Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the client?
I do provide the high resolution digital files to my clients.

Will images be available for viewing online?
Yes.

What kind of albums do you offer?
I have four different kind of albums I offer. I think there is something for every taste.

When will the client get the final album?
As soon as you have chosen the images you want to be in your album (or have had me pick them out for you) and we have worked through the album design and the additional changes as needed then I'll send your album off to the printer. It really depends on how fast you are in selecting the images and the time of year that happens.
