The Officers Club, nestled in a secluded location just 10 minutes from San Luis Obispo. This charming building, built in the 1920's,is your world for the day. It is so private and homey it is like you are entertaining your guests in your home.  There is only one event booked per day so there is plenty of time to do your decorating and set up. We do like to keep your reception to 4-5 hours, but honestly you are ready to go by then. 
The veranda that runs across the front of the building that is enjoyed by freinds and relatives, who  sit and chat and catch up on each others lifes. far  enough from the  from the music and dancing but still part of the party.  There are several rooms, all of which are yours when you rent the facility. The fireplace room iwelcomes your guests as they enter the club. It is a wonderful place for appetizers or a ceremony of 125 people.The high wood ceiling needs no decorating. The bar is a room all to itself so if you do not want alcohol at your reception we would not even open that room. The main ballroom is large enough for 300 people but with creative seating 75 people do not get lost in there. The dance floor is 30x30, i beleive one of the biggest in the area. Tthe kitchen is loved by many caterers.Tthe size and space makes it wonderful for them to prepare your food efficiently. There is a large covered BBQ off the kitchen if  BBQ is  on your menu.  
Camp San Luis Obispo  also  has a chapel. It is like stepping back in time, the tall steeple, dark wood pews. so simple but charming.
