Mitchell and I first got to work with Missy for our engagement session (which came with our wedding photo package). He and I had never had professional photos taken together and we were kind of nervous. We met Missy on Sauvie Island at the park as the summer sun was setting and she captured the most beautiful pictures of us. Everyone had commented that Missy had done a beautiful job capturing the most loving expressions on our faces. She was so patient, kind, funny, and made us feel at ease about everything. The photos were posted about 2 weeks later and I could have died of happiness seeing them!
For our wedding day (2 days ago!) the timing for everything was just so messed up. My bridesmaids and I ended up arriving late to get dressed and boy was I stressing out. Missy and her 2 back up shooters were already there taking pictures of the boys, my dress, the rings, while patiently waiting for the late bride. My husband and I did "first look" photos together inside the bridal changing room and Missy and her team were so gracious and captured such a beautiful, loving, emotional time for us. We then went outside in downtown Portland and took the group shots of the wedding party together and had such a blast! I had some pretty shy people in my wedding party but Missy and her team got them to lighten up and smile! As the wedding progressed it was really all a blur to me, like a dream, but Missy and her shooters were taking pictures of EVERYTHING. Every moment a bride and groom could ever want, Take5 captured it; the family photos, the dancing, the food, the candid shots, the bouquet and garter toss, all the friends and family photo requests, everything!
