Sweet Pea is the husband and wife team of Steve, non-denominational minister, and Sonya Beck, florist.  We believe that all of our couples’ deserve a uniquely magical ceremony with gorgeous floral arrangements that both reflects and complements them on their special day. Our style is your style because our emphasis is on your dreams, wishes, and visions.

Florist Details

What type of decor (if any) do you offer? Yes, we offer a hand-forged iron arbor, altar urns and columns, aisle shepards hooks, & various centerpiece containers.

Do you provide non-floral additions to floral arrangements? Yes, it is your wedding and we can design and get almost anything.

Do you offer full-services, such as wedding day set-up, for an additional fee? Delivery and set-up is part of our service. The fee is a percentage of your overall cost (10%).

If you have not worked at the ceremony and/or reception sites previously, would you be willing to visit the sites before the event? Yes.

Do you offer bouquet/flower preservation services? No, but we can make recommendations.

Do you offer any other specializations that have not been covered? Customer service! We are not a typical wedding florist to just "drop-off" the florals but we will stay and relocate items from the ceremony to the reception and offer pick-up of rented containers from your venue.

Officiant Details

Are you willing to perform a ceremony at a non-religious site? Yes, Steve has performed at numerious venues such as wineries, golf clubs, hotels, beach sites, park sites, and private backyards.

Are you flexible in the wording used throughout the ceremony including the vows? Yes.

Do you allow the couple to write their own vows, if desired? It is encouraged to have couple's write their own vows but it's not "homework" and it's the couple's decision.

Do you have a list of readings pre-selected, from which the couple must choose? Yes. Steve also offers "sand, wine, candle" or other ritual/spiritual ceremonies.

Do you require that premarital counseling be done? No.

Are you willing to perform pre-ceremony rehearsals? Yes, it is included in the fee. Steve will assist with coordination either with or without a venue coordinator.
