Before the wedding, Alicia did a trial and kept checking in to make sure I was happy. She was patient and listened to what I wanted. I loved my hair and makeup and so did all of the other girls on my wedding! Alicia went above and beyond! In addition to doing such an amazing job with hair and makeup, she helped my sister get her dress on (stubborn zipper), took gorgeous pictures, and even touched up my Mom's makeup (when she insisted on doing it herself) :) I look forward to seeing Alicia again when she does my best friend's wedding in July!

Alicia went above and beyond for not only me, the bride, but my bridesmaids as well. She traveled to my wedding destination, at Illinois State Beach, at 8:30 am the day of the wedding and spent the entire morning and early afternoon helping us look our best. She skipped lunch to make sure we were ready before the photographer arrived at 2 pm. She was not only professional but fun and relaxed which is exactly what you need the day of your wedding. I could not recommend anyone other than Alicia to help you with hair and makeup for your big day

Alicia did the hair and makeup for my wedding and came to the hotel the morning of. She was amazing throughout the trial process and also dying my hair before hand. My mom and bridesmaids can't say enough good things about her and her work! I got so many compliments and was very happy with the style we decided on! I recommend her to everyone I know getting married!

Alicia did a wonderful job for our wedding on September 25, 2010 and each of the five bridesmaids were so happy with her work. Alicia showed up on time and was very patient with our group, all of the girls showed up at different times. She was very accommodating to what each girl wanted, and was able to provide suggestions that fit each person's style. She was very patient with me since I did not know exactly what I wanted, and she ended up creating a beautiful intricate braided updo for me based on a few pictures I had brought with me. Everyone's hair stayed put during the outdoor photo shoot on a windy day and lasted throughout the night.

I had no idea even the day of the wedding what I wanted to do with my hair. I wanted something funky and fun but something that would last my wedding which was on the Oddyssey ship at Navy Pier. She did an amazing job! I felt like a princess. The hair stayed through winds and lots of dancing. She worked with me for a long time! She also did my make up which was natural and beautiful.

One month before my wedding, I found myself having to search for a new hair/make up artist who could do on location services for a price that wouldn't break my bank. Luckily, I got in contact with Alicia, who was wonderful to work with. She had a ton of ideas, came to my place for the trial and arrived at the location even before I did on the wedding day! She was flexible and worked really well with my bridesmaids and mom, and even stayed a little longer to do make up for my aunt. She requires about an hour per girl for hair and make up, so make sure to plan your schedule accordingly! I loved the ease of being able to have her come to our location and not have to worry about having to make separate hair and make up appointments or try to plan ahead for traffic. All of my bridesmaids looked beautiful, and I couldn't have been happier with my own styling. I've tried to warn my husband I'll never look that good again but he has his own ideas about that :) Overall, I was very, very pleased with Alicia's services and felt she provided great, on location, styling for a very reasonable price. I felt pretty, my hair and make up stayed put all day, and my bridesmaids looked happy and comfortable with their own styling. I highly recommend Alicia!

I really had a hard time looking for how I wanted my hair for my wedding day. All I know was that I had a few ideas but Alicia was able to help and pick the look for that day. My make up was amazing! I really never wear any and I was a little scared to get my make up done by someone. My hair was the talk of the night I always wear my hair curly and she blew it straight and put it up in large curls. My new husband said that he loved my hair so much. I will now use Alicia all the time.
The service was great! She was able to take care of me and 4 othe brides maids hair and make up and we all got to church on time! Im very happy that I had Special Moments for my special day ;-)

Special Moments made my wedding a special day! With the onsite service that was fully prepared for anything. I had a bridal party of 6 including myself the bride... It all started at 8 am hair make up my girls and I got the full treatment! For a little extra Alicia had accompanied us to the church to put her final touch on our hair and make-up. I really strongly suggest that you choose Special Moments for your special day! Very professional service! I still get asked "who did your hair?" I use her now as my own stylist... Also I used special moments to take my bedroom pictures for my new husband for valentines day! She works with a few photographers too! Thanks Special moments!
