Seth recently shot our wedding and we couldn’t be more pleased. There’s a lot at stake with a photographer and Seth/Kelly absolutely hit it out of the park. Seriously, I cannot say enough good things and even my wedding guests and wedding party commented about how great he was. Seth is very much a meet in-person, get to know you sort of person and that was a bit tricky since we lived in Chicago. FaceTime and random trips home helped a ton!
Our engagement shoot was a great chance for us to get comfortable doing lovey dovey things and get to know him and his style more. He even came back the next day to show us all the images! He shoots events as they unfold throughout the day, and is less about formal or staged photos. While we were getting ready I thought he was just checking light but nope, he was capturing some fantastic candids so nonchalantly. During the reception he set up a projector that played photos from the day. It was a huge hit with our guests! It didn’t distract from other events going on but when you got a drink at the bar you had something amazing to look at. At one point I left the dance floor to touch up my hair or something and I caught Seth and Kelly eating dinner (quite late mind you) and editing away furiously on their computers. So pleased by the work already, I said “eat, eat, you deserve it!” but they kept on working. At 10 PM the night of our wedding, Seth had already posted 70+ photos to Facebook and I am forever grateful he did this. The next morning I was able to relieve all the glorious moments, guests that weren’t able to fly out were able to celebrate with us remotely, and when memories started fade a few weeks later I had these to turn to. I can’t imagine not having photos for weeks after. PS – Yes you get the real photos too, and a lot more of them, but it was great to have this mini album.
Above all he and Kelly were just so great to be around always helping out whether it was photography related or not. So happy!
