Describe your DJ style:
I specialize in events that are elegant and require a high level of professional style. I offer interactivity at events that is fun without being overly hyper or tacky. I will never ever risk embarrassing a client at an event. Clients have told me that I am very creative and know how to cater to crowds.
What is your usual attire?
My attire is according to what a client requests - from a full tuxedo to a formal business suit.
If you do not have one of the songs pre-requested by the client, do you require that they provide it?
My music libary includes over 30,000 songs. However if there happens to be a song I do not have, and it is commercially available then I will be glad to obtain it at no additional cost.
How many other DJs do you work with?
I am part of a strong network of other DJs involved in the American Disc Jockey Association. I also have a strong network of alliances with other local DJs.
What is the minimum amount of time you will DJ for?
There are no time constraints. I will be there for as long as you like.
Is the client able to meet the DJ before booking?
Absolutely! I always suggest and in person meeting with prospective brides to insure there is a good match.
Do you bring your own equipment?
Yes. All of the equipment used at an event is personally owned.
What (if any) special equipment, such as disco balls or lighting, is offered with your service?
Yes. I have a number of special equipment available for unique needs.
How much time do you usually need to set up? Do you require that the site or client provide a table for you to set up on?
It depends on the event and the amount of equipment used. My normal wedding show is very elaborate and can take from 1 to 2 hours to fully assemble and configure. I do not require a table.
Do you usually emcee the event or talk between songs?
Since every event is different, I offer a level of interactivity and speaking according to what each client requests. With detailed experience as a Master of Ceremony I can effectively coordinate event formalities so everything goes smoothly.
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
No, I do not take meal breaks. I dedicate all my time to focus on every event 100% from start to finish.
What is your backup plan in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?
I have never missed a show yet. However, in the unforeseen case I was not able to perform I have a large network of people that can provide a replacement.
Do you charge for travel expenses? If yes, how much do you charge?
No, there are no additional charges for travel. I will travel anywhere in the lower Michigan area.
