Everything was handled with skill and perfection. So many of my guests came up asking for his name because he was so funny. Reverend Richard Colonna was an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding ceremony at The Ryland Inn. We booked his services over a year out due to his positive reviews and we were not disappointed! He is incredibly organized in the planning process. He guided us through the entire process and helped us create our own script. We had numerous phone calls with him and he was very patient with us when we tweaked our ceremony many times! Reverend Richard J. Colonna was the officiant for our wedding ceremony and we couldn't have been happier. Rev Rich met with us a few times leading up to the wedding and we were impressed by his professionalism, thoroughness and attention to detail. Our wedding officiant, Richard, was truly the best we could have asked for. From the moment we started working with him, he was personable, understanding, compassionate, and genuinely funny. He had such a natural ability to read the room and knew exactly when to be serious and when to lighten the moment with a little humor.

As someone who is naturally a very anxious person—and especially as the bride, where the nerves are easily ten times stronger—having Richard there made a world of difference. Richard was absolutely phenomenal! He was incredibly professional and took the time to meet with my fiancé and me multiple times to make sure everything was perfect. When we had to reschedule our original rehearsal, he was more than accommodating. Then, after a major winter storm forced us to reschedule again, he stayed proactive—communicating directly with the venue to coordinate the processional and recessional details.

We were in constant communication throughout the entire process, and he even arrived extra early on the wedding day to run through another rehearsal to ensure everything went smoothly. Despite sustaining an injury, he still showed up with the same energy and commitment, determined to make our day as special as possible. His dedication and attention to detail truly meant so much to us. I would highly recommend Richard—you absolutely won’t go wrong!

I cannot say enough good things about Reverend Richard. He is everything we could have asked for and more! It only took one zoom meeting with Richard for my husband and I to know that he was the perfect fit. From the way he speaks, you can just tell that he loves love and loves what he does. He has done countless weddings and yet he treats each one with so much care and enthusiasm. He expertly guided us through all of our options and what elements we wanted to include and then turned those choices into the most beautiful ceremony we could have hoped for. Reverend Rich married my husband and I last week at The Farmhouse. He has now married me, my sister, and my two cousins including baptizing their children. He spent time getting to know me and my husband meeting with us multiple times prior to the wedding. He even came early to do a run through of the ceremony while I finished up pictures. I will never forget while I was waiting to walk down the aisle, my family and friends were cheering and laughing all thanks to him! He makes things fun, personal, and mailed my marriage license immediately. Highly recommend!
