About Us
I am an ordained Interfaith Minister, graduated in 2009 from One Spirit Interfaith Seminary. After working as a hospital chaplain for some time, I decided to bring my gifts to a happier forum and officiate weddings as well. While chaplaincy is rewarding work, there is nothing quite like being in the joyful presence of Love and the promise of 'happily ever after'. The decision to make a lifetime commitment to another is an act of choice. Your ceremony is the ritual that sanctifies this act and provides the opportunity for you to make public this hitherto private choice. Whether your ceremony is being witnessed by an intimate group or your larger community, this ceremony is the ‘ground’ in which your union can take root, grow and flourish. When you select me to officiate your ceremony, you will receive so much more than just someone to make your union legal. I will work with you throughout the process planning every element of your ceremony; from the words of welcome to the pronouncement and everything in between. I will shepherd you through the process of planning a ceremony that is meaningful to you and your partner, one that will be uniquely your own. Your ceremony will speak for you and about you. I will advise you on the required elements, suggest readings and songs as well as guide you through the process of creating your own personal vows of commitment and statement of intent. I will also offer suggestions for rituals that are symbolic of two people joining their lives in love, friendship and passion. I am licensed to perform weddings in New York State and the District of Columbia.
