Paul was great!! Caught all the stuff we wanted and produced amazing photos!!

Paul Houston was absolutely professional and a pleasure to work with!!! He captured our engagement, my bridals, and our wedding perfectly! His quality of work is above and beyond what I could have ever hoped & dreamed of. I'm so glad we went with his services because he is constantly seeking to provide the best for his clients and not settling for less than what we deserve. I was never worried about the end product because he worked absolutely smoothly to get the shots we wanted. He was also accessible and quick to respond when I had questions. I seriously could write a million and one things about the things I loved about working with him. If you are looking for the most up to date in style photographer that is not going to break the bank, you have found the right person! I have known Paul since high school and back when he was just an armature photographer. He is one the most talented photographers that I know and has that “gift” of photography. Paul took both our engagement photos and shot our wedding. He was always on time and got us our photos extremely fast. He has an eye for just the right photo and his style and price cannot be beat! His personality is always upbeat and makes you feel comfortable (he is not the “look here Tiger” photographer your parents took you to as a kid). I loved working with Paul! I felt comfortable the entire time, no matter what he was asking me to do. I was at ease knowing what Paul was capable of doing with all of our photographs. His personality makes working with him such a joy! I love his style of photography, and you can't beat the price! I would recommend him to anyone.

In April of 2013 we had a casual meeting with Paul, paid our $700 retainer & completed our contract for our engagements, bridals & wedding photos. Paul later emailed me a copy of the signed contract. I saw that the portion of the contract that the photographer was supposed to complete wasn't filled out. I replied to his email requesting that he complete that portion so we have what our package included on our contract-He never replied. About a month & a half later, June, I sent him a Facebook message asking what weekends he would be available in September for our engagement shoot-He never replied. Two weeks later, July, I sent him a text message asking the same thing-He never responded. Three weeks later I called him. I actually heard him answer the phone & immediately hang up. I called him right back & got his voicemail this time. I left him a voicemail with the same message about scheduling our engagement shoot. He replied to my phone call with a text that he would figure out his schedule & get back with me "soon". Two weeks go by and I still hadn't heard back from him. I called him AGAIN & left a voicemail & nothing. Two days go by & at this point he has been so extremely difficult to get ahold of I am no longer comfortable relying on him to photograph the most important day of our lives. Two days later my fiancé called him 3 times & got a text response. FINALLY that evening Paul actually called me. I told Paul we didn't feel comfortable moving forward with him & that we would like our $700 refunded due to his lack of responsiveness & professionalism. Our wedding still being over a year away & him being 100% responsible for our dissatisfaction, him returning our retainer seemed like the right thing to do. He informed me that the contract stated the retainer was nonrefundable but that he'd return half of it. So he met with us for 30 minutes & then ignored my contacts for 3 months and still kept $350 of our money. Brides save yourself the stress!
