Describe your DJ style:
We play the music you ask for. Need an emcee? We can take care of that. We make it fun!
 
What is your usual attire?
Dress code is decided on by the couple. We can come dressed in a tuxedo, a suit and tie, or casual attire.
 
If you do not have one of the songs pre-requested by the client, do you require that they provide it?
No, we will obtain all music requested by the couple. We also have the ability to download music at the event, should something be requested that we do not have.
 
What is the minimum amount of time you will DJ for?
There is no minimum.
 
Is the client able to meet the DJ before booking?
Yes, in fact, we encourage it.
 
Do you bring your own equipment?
Yes, we also have a backup system.
 
What (if any) special equipment, such as disco balls or lighting, is offered with your service?
If requested, we have a lighting package available. Lighting includes a mirror ball, and several colored lighting effects that will flash with the music.
 
How much time do you usually need to set up? Do you require that the site or client provide a table for you to set up on?
If there is no lighting requested, setup time is approximately 30 minutes. If lighting is requested, about one hour. We can provide our own table, if needed.
 
Do you have any extra space requirements?
Only if lighting is requested. The lighting grid will go above the DJ table, but it is 10 feet wide.
 
Do you usually emcee the event or talk between songs?
Yes. Talking between songs is kept to a minimum. Only to energize the crowd.
 
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
No
 
Will you arrange for recorded music to play during your breaks?
Our music library is all digital. Music will continue to play as long as we have it cued.
 
What is your backup plan in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?
There are 3 DJs employed by Muzik & Memories.
 
What is your overtime rate?
There is no overtime rate. Time is charged by the hour, extra time can be added, if needed.
 
Do you charge for travel expenses? If yes, how much do you charge?
Sometimes. This depends on if photography is also chosen, and what package is chosen. If only DJ is hired, locations over 50 miles away will be charged 25 cents per mile (over the 50 miles). This mileage charge will be applicable to the round trip.

Currently there is just Erricka, however we are training two additional photographers.
 
Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event?

Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend?
Only one wedding is scheduled per day, for the photographer.
 
Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?
Should something happen that I am unavailable for the wedding day, a replacement will be found.
 
Do you charge hourly or full day?
There are packages available, or I can be hired at an hourly rate.
 
Are you available to shoot extra hours? If yes, how much do you charge for extra hours?
There is no such thing as overtime. I will continue to shoot as long as the couple needs me.
 
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
The only break I take is the drive from the Ceremony to the Reception.
 
Do you charge for travel?
This will depend on the package chosen.
 
How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing?
Online proofs will be available within one week of the wedding. In order to keep cost down, I do not print proofs. If the couple does not have internet access, photos can be viewed in our office on a laptop.
 
In what format are the initial proofs offered?

How long can the client keep the proofs?
Online proofs will be viewable for up to 6 months.
 
Do you retain the copyright for the photos?
Yes, but a release can be given with purchase of a image disk.
 
Do you reserve the right to publish the photos?
Yes
 
Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the client?
Some packages include a disk for the couple to print their own photos. If not included in package, option is available for the couple to purchase a disk.
 
Will images be available for viewing online?
Yes
 
What kind of albums do you offer?
Traditional or Photobooks.
 
When will the client get the final album?
Albums are not available to the couple until the balance is paid in full. Once balance is paid, the couple's traditional album will be ready within one week of placing order. If couple decides to have photos in photobook, once the order is placed, the photobook is available in 2-3 weeks.
