Words cannot explain how thankful we are for Melani and her team for capturing our special day. We also had the privilege of her photographing our engagement session where we had so much fun strolling through Central Park. When our wedding day came, we knew we would be in good hands with Melani. But her and her team surpassed every expectation we could ever imagined! She went above and beyond the entire day. She captured every moment and detail we wanted. On a day that is often filled with nerves, Melani had such a calming presence that helped to put our minds at ease. Melanie did the most outstanding job EVER

I'm thrilled that Melani photographed our wedding in East Hampton - the photos are stunning and Melani was an absolute joy to work with! In addition to being a talented photographer, Melani has wonderful energy - she is warm, enthusiastic, and completely unobtrusive. She captured so many special moments, but I didn't notice her or the camera. This allowed me to live completely in the moment, but still have the memories caught on camera. Melani genuinely loves what she does and this shows through the dedication that she brings to her work. I would recommend her without hesitation to any couple.

Melani was really the best decision I made when it came to planning our wedding. Her photos are phenomenal. Our friends, family, and random people on Facebook have all consistently commented that they are the most beautiful wedding photos they have ever seen. From our first conversation, Melani has been professional, attentive, kind, and personal. She has an incredible amount of experience not only with photography but also with wedding planning, and her wisdom helped us hugely when planning. From the timing of events day of, to planning portraits ahead of time, Melani and her team were in contact with us regularly to be as helpful as they could be.

I couldn't believe that a simple bride like myself had such a professional and talented photographer, and our pictures make me smile each day. At the first look, the ceremony, and the reception Melani and her second shooter were totally unobtrusive yet captured the most intimate and transient moments -- the kind you don't even notice when you are there but that warm your heart to see in retrospect.

Melani even sent us sneak peaks the day after our wedding which was so much fun to look at together and to share with our families.

Hiring Melani and her second shooter, Darina, was one of the best decisions we had made for our wedding. I wish I could give her more than 5 stars on the categories above. Her romantic style captured our wedding day through the best lens possible, and our pictures were amazing. Melani and Darina were unobtrusive throughout the entire day, and our guests hardly knew they were there, despite all the amazing shots they captured of the party. The value was unbelievable the number of hours included in her package far exceeded most other vendors we were considering – she was there through all our preparations and through the end of the night, and she was worth every penny. On top of all of that, for the duration of our planning process, Melani was extremely responsive and personable with all our email communications, often responding on the same day to us and answering logistical questions and providing insight often on non-photography related topics. We were so grateful for her advice and insight, and making us feel special while knowing she has a busy business and lots of other brides and grooms (as well as families and other portfolios she takes on). We also received a sneak peek of some of the wedding shots the day after the wedding, which was an amazing surprise and a nice parting gift for our honeymoon. We can’t thank Melani enough for all she did on our big day!

Full disclosure - Melani is a kinswoman of mine who lives in CT. I always knew that if I got married I desperately wanted her to photograph the wedding.

Simply put - Melani sees through to the soul and captures it. Her style is beautiful and evocative, timeless yet contemporary. She does what she calls 'creatives' with the couple, where you go somewhere meaningful to the couple an she captures just the two of you there. She is also uncanny at capturing that moment with your grandmother in law at the ceremony or the wonderful body language between you and your father in law as you dance. My mother is notorious for not photographing well - Melani took the best shot I've ever seen of her.

As others have said, she has the most incredible energy and a buoyant personality - which makes everything a breeze, especially getting the formal shots and groupings a breeze.

Melani is tops!

Melani has great energy. She is upbeat and energetic and committed to delivering on what she's promised. To date, I've only seen a few wedding pictures from her (it's only been 3 weeks) but they are lovely. She conducted an engagement setting for us and those photos were amazing. I briefly considered a career in modeling then realized it was just her making me look that good. You should definitely meeting with her and talk about you vision for the day to be sure you align on styles. She was a perfect match for what I wanted for my day. We are very happy with having chosen Melani.
