Describe your DJ style:
When you book with Limelight Entertainment, you are provided with an event planner which allows you to tell us what style of DJ you would like for your event, even if you would like your DJ to have a different style for different portions of your event. With our system, you are always assured of getting the DJ style you desire.
What is your usual attire?
With our event planner, you will be able to note what attire you wish your DJ to wear for your wedding event. We are available to wear everything from casual business attire to formal wear, based on your needs.
If you do not have one of the songs pre-requested by the client, do you require that they provide it?
If you do not see your song on our list, chances are we will be able to get it for you. If not, feel free to provide a CD.
What is the minimum amount of time you will DJ for?
Our minimum booking is generally two hours.
Is the client able to meet the DJ before booking?
At Limelight Entertainment, we are willing to meet with the bride and/or groom prior to the event, to discuss the wedding event planner, your specific needs and to answer any questions you may have. We can make the meeting at a convenient time and location.
Do you specialize in any ethnic or international events?
Our extensive song list includes some ethnic songs. If it is not on our list, we will get it for you. If we are unable to get a song you want, simply provide us with a CD and we will incorporate it into your event.
Do you bring your own equipment?
Limelight Entertainment provides all its own equipment, including a mic for announcements.
What (if any) special equipment, such as disco balls or lighting, is offered with your service?
You have the option of including a lighting package with your booking. Simply ask us about our options. We have also provide a microphone during ceremonies. If you have additional audio needs, let us know and we will try to help you out.
How much time do you usually need to set up? Do you require that the site or client provide a table for you to set up on?
A table is generally required. We can work with your venue and your banquet staff to assure adequate arrangements are made.
Do you usually emcee the event or talk between songs?
Again, you can provide us with your needs on our event planner. We have the capability of MCing your entire reception if you would like.
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
On your wedding planner, you can indicate whether or not you will be providing a meal for the DJ.
Will you arrange for recorded music to play during your breaks?
During breaks, music will continue to play.
What is your backup plan in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?
Rest assured that we have enough staff as well as a network of professionals that we work with in the case of an unforeseen emergency that prevents your DJ from getting to your event. With Limelight Entertainment, you will have peace of mind.
Do you charge for travel expenses? If yes, how much do you charge?
All travel expenses are included in the price quoted.
