Describe any special wedding packages you offer:
We're a full service company. When our tuxedoed chauffeur initially arrives, he will assist the Bride and Bridesmaids with anything that needs to be brought out to the limousine, such as flowers. At that time we suggest the Bride and her Maid Of Honor get a picture pointing to the "Almost Married" sign on the back of the limousine. As long as weather permits, your chauffeur will roll out the red carpet and assist everyone getting into the limousine, making sure the Bride's train does not drag on the ground. Once you arrive at the church, your chauffeur will roll out the red carpet, and assist everyone into the church. He will bring anything from the limousine into the church and stay with the Bride until she goes down the aisle, making sure that her train is properly put into place. He carries tic tacs, tissue and a sewing kit. Once you are officially married, we will have changed the "Almost Married" sign to a "Just Married" sign and suggest at that time that the Bride and Groom get a picture pointing to it. We will decorate the limousine displaying a "Congratulations" sign, we'll adhere wedding bells to the outside of the limousine, we'll place "Just Married" wedding confetti on the floor of the limousine, and we'll top it off with a bottle of chilled, non-alcoholic champagne, in a champagne magnum, with two chilled champagne glasses so you can toast your wedding day. From there, your chauffeur will take you to your wedding reception, rolling out the red carpet one more time for your grand entrance!

Tips and Advice
There is so much you need to know about renting a limousine instead of just getting a price quote and to compare "apples with apples". It’s not everyday you rent a limousine and you want it make sure that you are dealing with a company that is legal, has the vehicle they advertise and all of the safety concerns that you should have because you are entrusting your and your friends lives with someone you don’t know. Things like is the driver under the influence of drugs or alcohol; when’s the last time the vehicle was inspected; if something happens, what kind of insurance does this company have, etc. GIVE US A CALL AT 800-583-2233, so we can talk to you more.

When you rent a limousine, the first most important issue should be safety. The Maryland Public Service Commission regulates the transportation industry. If a company is legal and conducts business only in Maryland (intrastate transaction), they must have their vehicles inspected twice a year; their drivers have to have a separate license, issued through the Public Service Commission, which requires them to be fingerprinted, have a background check and a clean driving record. They also have to carry $300,000 liability insurance. If a company travels out of state, they MUST be D.O.T. (Department of Transportation) certified (interstate transaction), which in addition to the Maryland regulations, the company must carry 1.5 million dollars liability insurance for vehicle up to 15 passengers, 5 million for vehicles that carry larger groups, and the drivers have to be drug and alcohol tested prior to hiring, then randomly. The drivers also have to present a clean driving record annually. These are all safety issues. Also, If the company is not D.O.T. certified and you have to go out of state, the police could pull you over, confiscate the vehicle, putting out all of the occupants, then you’ll have to find another way to or from your destination. There is a mandatory $11,000 fine to the company.

To check if a company is legal, the first thing to do is go onto The Maryland Public Service Commission’s website at  www.psc.state.md.us  On the left side of the page, go to "Transportation", then in the middle of the page, go to "Search" and click on "Carrier Vehicles". Then click on the drop-down list where it says "All" and you can check a company by Name, PSC number (the most accurate), State, etc. If it displays the company you’re looking for, then click on "Get Vehicle List". Here you can see their fleet, including the years of the vehicles. At the end of a tag number, for limos, there is a "LM", for sedans, it is "B" and for vehicles larger than 14 passengers, it is a "P".

If you want to verify if a company is D.O.T. certified, follow these steps: Go to www.fmcsa.dot.gov , at the top, go to the "Registration & Licensing" tab, under the first column, under "Find A Company’s Status" click on "Licensing & Insurance System", click "Continue" to go to the next page, then at the top right corner of the page, click on drop-down box and choose "Carrier Search", then click "Go". You can then put in the applicable information.
One of the other important things that consumers want and expect, is a clean, new, beautiful vehicle. Even if a company is legal, a lot of them lie about the years of their vehicles. Alot of consumers will read an advertisement, use the yellow pages or get a list over the internet and book a limousine sight unseen. So your just assuming that whoever you’re speaking with is telling you the truth. You’re also assuming that whatever pictures you’re looking at will be the vehicle that you will actually get; think again.

The only way you can actually be assured on both issues is to go to the place of business to see the vehicles. Once you inquired about a vehicle, and a company invites you to see their vehicle (we wouldn’t suggest using a company that doesn’t because if they really have nice vehicles, or even have the vehicles they are claiming to have, they would invite you out; if not, they are hiding something and are just trying to get you to book on low price) write the information down, go to the business and ask to see the vehicle discussed. Confirm this is the vehicle discussed, then ASK FOR THE VEHICLE’S REGISTRATION, which is required by law to be in the vehicle at all times. Make sure you confirm the year that was discussed and compare the VIN on the registration to the vehicle (located at the bottom of the windshield on the driver’s side). If a company lied to you about the year of the vehicle, what else are they lying about?

These are Once-In-A-Lifetime events and you should not have to worry about the transportation you’ve hired. Be a smart consumer and make sure you get what you paid for.
