The JW Marriott Resort and Spa was voted best Ceremony site AND Best Wedding Venue in 2009! The Resort offers fifty four acres of lush grounds with waterscapes, garden settings, and beautiful outdoor backdrops to make your Wedding day more special. In addition, we have seven unique venues to accommodate your event in style. When it comes to Weddings we think outside of the box, offering the ambience and character for every style of Wedding, complete with outdoor patios or terraces.
How does your venue determine the cost of the space?
Our complete Wedding Packages are inclusive of both the Ceremony and Reception and based on a per person fee. The Resort also offers packages for just the Wedding Ceremony which are a flat fee and inclusive of some of the vendor components and a la carte packages.
Do you offer any special services?
The Wedding Packages are inclusive of an on site Wedding Coordinator to assist in planning your very special day. Our goal is to make the planning process as simple as possible. The couple is also welcome to hire an outside Wedding Coordinator to assist in the planning process.
Do you offer any special packages for rehearsal dinners?
A variety of options are available for your Rehearsal Dinner or Newlywed Brunch. Dine in one of the many restaurants or one of our beautiful private venues.
Do you offer additional items for the ceremony?
The Ceremony site is inclusive of the chairs, audio system, and carpet runner. Additional floral and decor components may be arranged through the Resort or your personal florist.
Do you rent other items such as linens, tables, or flatware?
All of the basic set-up for your event is included with chairs, selection of linen colors, dance floor, votive candles. We can also assist with a variety of upgrade options to offer more convenience for the planning process.
What is your staff-to-guest ratio?
At the JW Marriott we take pride in offering outstanding service. Depending on the style of service we typically have a ratio of one server per fifteen guests.
Do you require clients to use a specific list of vendors?
We strongly suggest our recommended vendors as they are familiar with the property and provide outstanding service for our couples. Our vendors represent a variety of styles and price points but all have a focus on providing you the best possible experience for your special occasion. Outside vendors are permitted with prior approval and with proper business and liability documentation.
Can the client provide their own alcohol if desired?
All food and beverage is provided through the Resort. Custom menus are also available as well as options to meet special dietary restrictions.
What restrictions (if any) on decorations?
Couples are welcome to arrange decor with their florist or Event Design company, or with their on site coordinator. The only considerations are with reference to draping, hanging, candles, and pyrotechnics. For more information please consult your Wedding Coordinator.
What restrictions (if any) on photography?
The Resort offers a variety of breathtaking backdrops complete with waterscapes and garden settings. Your licensed photographer has the opportunity for photographs throughout the Resort coordinated with our Event Staff.
What restrictions (if any) on music?
Outdoor music is limited to 10:00 PM due to proximity to guest rooms. Most of the indoor locations do not have any noise restrictions.
Does your venue often accommodate more than one event at a time?
At the JW Marriott, we offer a a selection of seven outdoor Ceremony sites and eight reception venues throughout the Resort. Each venue offers an intimacy set aside from other venues to maintain the dignity of your special day.
