Kudos to New England and Iowa for supporting marriage. And I look forward to officiating for you at your wedding.

The summer of 2009 has been a summer of love, as couples are coming to Connecticut to wed from all around the country, and in many cases they are bringing their families and friends along to celebrate with them. Congrats to all.

I have been a justice of the peace, along with my spouse of 30 years, Ken Cornet, since 2000. In 2005 Ken and I had a civil union, and we were married in 2008, here in Litchfield County, Connecticut.

We look forward to hearing from you.  And we're ready when you are.
