We hired these people to film our wedding reception. They wanted half as a down payment. They took a questionnaire of people specifically to interview. They ignored their questionnaire and did a very poor job. When I viewed the video, I was stunned at its terrible quality. I pointed out many aspects that were strange and defective (for example, the sound). They said it was in the contract (I scoured the contract, and they lied). They refused to remake the product into something that people would actually want. They refused to hand over the master files so that I could make a product that I wanted. They said that if I didn't sign their sheet and pay them the balance, they would destroy all of my master footage within two weeks.

They refused to help in any way salvage the footage of my wedding reception. They said that the $500 deposit was nonrefundable, even though the video was terrible by any standards. They said that my only option is to walk away entirely and they would destroy all of my video and keep my $500, or I could pay them $500 to take the bad copy they had made, or I could pay $1500 for the masters and the bad copy. I felt extorted. They guaranteed a certain quality but the DVD they gave won't even play on my computers or my newer DVD player - they used a cheap DVD that can't even be played on US players! These people are scam artists
