I do all my editing in Photoshop to enhance the look of my images.
Do you have experience shooting in various lighting situations?
Natural light is amazing and I utilize it whenever possible
Is your media preference film or digital?
I'm a digital girl.
How many photographers do you work with?
Depending on what collection you choose, I work alone or with a second photographer whose style is similar to mine so the images are consistent.
Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend?
My client's are the most important thing and what keeps me in business. I am dedicated to capturing the best images I can for them and could not accomplish this by booking two weddings in one day.
What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?
I have multiple lenses which allow me to capture images in different lighting conditions as well as at different distances.
Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction?
I always bring a second camera.
Do you charge hourly or full day?
My collections start at $3500 and include full day coverage.
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
I usually only plan on a meal break but there will may be a few bathroom breaks along the way.
Do you charge for travel?
I have free travel within 50 round trip miles of Youngstown, After that, travel expenses incur at an as-needed basis.
How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing?
Proofs are ready 4-6 weeks after the wedding.
In what format are the initial proofs offered?
Proofs are offered via online viewing only.
How long can the client keep the proofs?
Proofs remain viewable for 60 days
Do you retain the copyright for the photos?
Yes.
Do you reserve the right to publish the photos?
Yes, but I respect the opinion of my clients and wouldn't submit anything if they didn't want that.
Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the client?
Digital files are available for an additional cost.
Will images be available for viewing online?
Jaci Clark Photography partners with Pictage. Pictage is an online lab that handles all my ordering and printing. I will create an event there that is available for viewing for 60 days. Once the event is released to the clients, they may forward the link to whoever they choose and those people will then be able to view as well as purchase photos.
What kind of albums do you offer?
I offer flush mount, coffee table and art book style albums.
When will the client get the final album?
After going through and editing the photos I begin designing an album. Once I complete the design process, clients receive three, free revisions. At this point they can add, change or remove any photos they want. Once final approval is given, clients usually receive their albums in 60-90 days.
