Golden rule catering was very easy to work with and did all of the work so that we didn't have to on our wedding day. They have extensive menu options including vegetarian entrees and sides. They were quick to answer any questions we had and were also useful in making recommendations for our wedding for setup and other vendors. Their experience was apparent and put us at ease going into our wedding. We received a lot of compliments about the food at our wedding and many wanted to know who provided the food. The food was buffet style but was served by the workers from Golden Rule, which helped make sure we had enough food for all guests, which was also appreciated. The food was incredible at the tasting and at the wedding. They were on time and the food was hot and fresh. All my guest complimented the food and had seconds. And, there was more than enough food for everyone to have seconds.
The food options and the price is unbeatable. Period. I looked. We had a salad, 2 vegetables, 2 starches, and 2 proteins for less than half of what other caterers charge and the food was spectacular. They also helped bus the tables and cut our cake.
Not to mention, the staff was super friendly and responsive.

Sarah and the staff at Golden Rule were fantastic. They exceeded our expectations in every way. The food was delicious and warm, staff friendly and professional. We had a few hiccups with the venue on the day prior to and day of the wedding, and Sarah went above and beyond to help us find solutions and answers in spite of having nothing to do with the problem. She was wonderful throughout the planning process and highly responsive, as well as open to our ideas and customization. Golden Rule was an affordable, delicious catering choice for our wedding and we highly recommend them.

I don't even know where to begin! Sarah and the staff at Golden Rule Catering made our wedding turn out so well. The food was an amazing, homemade menu (that was actually hot for all of the guests!). Sarah made the line run so smoothly, and it seemed just as people were getting their food, everyone was seated and digging in. They also helped us with renting a tent, drink services, decorations, etc. that made our wedding so beautiful and fun. We really couldn't have done it without them, and would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a caterer. I'm not saying this just because it was our wedding, but we had so many guests come up to us with their first comment being about how good the food was. We were so fortunate to have Sarah and the Golden Rule staff helping us out, and we really appreciate their assistance, punctuality, professionalism, talent, and a realization of all of our requests to make our day as special as it could ever be. Working with Golden Rule Catering was a wonderful, easy experience. The staff were all extremely professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. They helped us work within our budget, and they made sure to give us good, honest advice about what would work best with our venue and within our budget. We had a large wedding and didn't want our guests to have to wait for us to arrive, so they were prepared to have the guests eating and drinking the second they walked in the door. The service was incredible throughout the whole process, and the food was incredible. Literally every single dish we had was delicious and at the perfect temperature! after a half day of researching caterers and being totally frustrated, I called Golden Rule catering. They were recommended to me several times. Oh my gosh!!! The owner Carol was very down to earth and very professional.
Between her and her crew, we were totally taken care of! And the went above and beyond what catering "duties" really are.
