If you do not have one of the songs pre-requested by the client, do you require that they provide it?
Not unless it is a rare song.
How many other DJs do you work with?
We have fromed a small group called the Tri-state DJ's and work together.
What is the minimum amount of time you will DJ for?
There is a 3hr MIN time charged.
Is the client able to meet the DJ before booking?
Of course and is recomended.
Do you specialize in any ethnic or international events?
Not Really
Do you bring your own equipment?
HA HA this is a funny question. Yes unless it is something odd like a projector and I can rent it for an additional charge.
What (if any) special equipment, such as disco balls or lighting, is offered with your service?
My lights are a part of the service and are not your typical cheap lighiting. I spent big money on lights so you could have a quality show.
How much time do you usually need to set up? Do you require that the site or client provide a table for you to set up on?
time to set up is at least 1hr and a small table is great! 4' x 2' is perfect but have made larger work. lol
Do you have any extra space requirements?
no
Do you usually emcee the event or talk between songs?
Yes and no. I will anounce when needed but like to shy away from anouncing the songs and chatting too much.
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
If there is a dinner prior to playing the music and it is ok, I can slip into the line and eat and be ready for your show.
Will you arrange for recorded music to play during your breaks?
Oh yes. You can't stop the show. THE SHOW MUST GO ON.
What is your backup plan in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?
Yes
What is your overtime rate?
overtime rate is $75pr hr
Do you charge for travel expenses? If yes, how much do you charge?
it varies on distance and fuel prices.
