At first, we didn't think we were going to "need" a videographer to capture our wedding. We'd figured that our friends' cell phone footage would fill in gaps between the photographer's stills. John Miller and his team at First Day Films were/are PHENOMENAL from the first phone call!!! John spoke with us ahead of time about what was most important to us and recommended one of their packages (there are a few, depending on your budget and how much you want recorded), and then, a few weeks prior to the big day, sent us a form to fill out and list what moments we wanted to make sure they captured -- particularly if there were any that weren't standard, including if there were going to be any "surprises" that they should be ready to record.

On the wedding day, they were on time and unobtrusive, but seemingly EVERYWHERE, based on the final product. From the "getting ready" to the "first look", through the ceremony, itself (even taking some candid footage of our guests watching), and - of course - the dance floor, toasts and cake-cutting, John and his team mined GOLD. As we watched our video for the first time, my husband and I got choked up as we relived all the wonderful moments, and we kept remarking to each other how beautifully First Day Films captured everything! Even the packaging of the thumb drive we received was first class!
