About

I am a professional harpist located in the Montrose neighborhood of Houston. I earned an undergraduate degree, master's degree, and artist diploma in harp performance from one of the top harp programs in the United States. I have won several prizes in national harp competitions. Past weddings include Miss Universe, Ms. Nevada, and hundreds of super rad couples in Houston. My play list includes Beatles, Coldplay, Beyonce, Hank Williams Sr., Taylor Swift, Patsy Cline, Elvis, Stevie Wonder, Led Zeppelin, Bruno Mars, John Legend, The Weeknd, Mr. Neil Diamond, etc. and I have personally arranged all of the music that I play. Sweet Sounds

Sara was very professional and so fun! She was serious about providing the exact experience we wanted, but fun and easy to work with. Her song catalog is full of music that goes way beyond the typical wedding selections… movie soundtracks, current pop music, and classics… my daughter chose a fun mix. All of our guests loved the harp music.

I loved Sara's performance at my wedding last week. She was the talk of the ceremony and really brought the feeling to life. We requested a "Whole New World" a song not on her list- and arranged it herself. It was truly a magical night. I would hire her again if I could! She was timely, professional, and flexible.

This was an added treat for me from my Mom! Sara made our ceremony more beautiful and actually hearing her play was making me tear up before I walked down the aisle. Very professional too!

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Sara. So many of our guests were impressed by her talent and complimented her all night. She offers such a huge selection of music - from classics to modern. She was also able to compose a song that is near and dear to my mother and played it so beautifully on our wedding day. I HIGHLY recommend her.

The one thing that everyone commented on about our ceremony was the harpist. They were so impressed with the modern selection and the uniqueness of having a harpist at our ceremony! The only downside was, as the bride, I didn't get to listen to much of her prelude music. However, the excitement and enjoyment the guests had over her being there was completely worth it! Sara was also very responsive, reasonably priced, and incredibly talented. Although she would sometimes take a day or two to respond to e-mails, she was highly responsive and answered any questions in great detail and gave great suggestions.

AMAZING. Hands down easily one of my favorite venders to work with. Sara was recommended by our venue and we got to hear her at one of their open houses. We booked a listening appointment with her which she had to reschedule. She gave me plenty of advance warning about the rescheduling so I wasn't upset at all, but she felt bad and offered us a discount to make up for it. At our listening appointment she was very enjoyable to talk to and she played tons of songs for us to hear. It really helped us to narrow down the choices for ceremony music. She had good advice and a good sense of humor. I have received tons of compliments about how beautiful the ceremony music was. Sara is very professional, a beautiful musician and a great person.

Sara went ABOVE AND BEYOND!! So much positive feedback from my guests. If you are debating on whether or not to spend the little extra to have Sara as your musician, I highly recommend you do it!! She had no problem playing songs that weren't on her song list, even on short notice. Having one of my favorite songs play as the recessional was a magical, special moment that I can't put a price tag on. Thank you Sara for your amazing talent, it really was a fairy tale wedding!!

This was one of the best decisions we made for the wedding. The music was beautiful. All of the guests gushed over how pretty the harp music was. It set the tone for a romantic wedding.

Sara was very professional. She paid attention to the details of the wedding. There were no akward pauses, all of the music flowed beautifully. She answered all communications quickly. I recommend her highly.
