Imagine having the Fairytale Wedding that you have dreamed of since you were four, sprinkled with an aristocratic Elegant Flair and Graceful Poise of a Blue Blood; that is an Earlene S. Croxton event.
When I announced my engagement to my family and friends, there was an instant exchange of ideas with my mom, aunts, best friend, sisters and cousin. We all came up with a little bit of everything. I was so excited, they were all excited; I was going to be the first grandchild in my family married. They were even more taken when I said I had a deadline; I wanted to have this miracle come to be on October 1, four months from the date of announcement. No one can pull all of this off in just four months was the consensus. Then comes Mrs. Croxton, or Earl as she is affectionately called.
I told her what I wanted, liked and needed to make my day Special. She asked the normal questions, i.e. color scheme, location, party & guest size, and most importantly date. I was apprehensive on saying the date since I was already told by my family that NO Wedding Planner is going to accept such a short turn around. Without a budge, she then asked me what I have done so far. I had no idea what to do, how to do it or if I did right; I was a frantic mess. She softly said, Not only will I make it all happen the way you want, but it will surpass your wildest dreams.
I had no idea what she meant until the morning of October 1. I walked into the Ballroom, jittered in fear and overwhelmed by anxiety of my impending vows, yet in awe of the sheer beauty of the Ballroom. I had just seen these very same bare decored lightly light walls two nights before at the rehearsal. Never would or could I have imagined the transformation. There were ice sculptures surrounding the fountain, illuminating centerpieces draped with pearls in soft shades of Lilac, a magnificent Trellis adorned with icicles, Cali Lilies and Orchids everywhere, Cheese & Fruit Stations and even a Jazz ensemble whose lead singer sung my song as I walked down the aisle. Breathless
Looking back on that day, my only regret is that I had to end. I felt like the Belle of the Ball, as we danced our first dance. I wanted a day to remember yet instead I got a dream never to forget.
Ms. Croxton works wonders as I am a Testament to her marvelous miracles. Her tactful professionalism and extensive knowledge of the wedding industry is a comfort to any Bride to Be. Ms. Croxton's attention to the minutest details and her creative resolution of apparently insurmountable obstacles puts her in a Class of Her Own.
