Marieke and Adam were fabulous from start to finish. We ended up with a cake that far surpassed our dreams - four tiers of white swirled buttercream over 3 types of cake (red velvet, chocolate, and vanilla - all gluten free I might add) and 5 types of buttercream icing (pistachio, fresh strawberry, fresh raspberry, fresh sour cherry, and white chocolate). All night we had guests coming up to tell us how fabulous the cake looked and tasted, and I had to confirm to almost everyone there that it truly was gluten free. No one could believe how good it was! Adam even carried all four tiers by hand on a small shuttle boat to Quadra Island in the middle of an insane windstorm and then stayed to arrange fresh flowers on top. I really can't say enough good things about our experience!

Marieke was so easy to work with. She was SO organized and walked us through the wedding cake process making it very enjoyable. She reminded us before each step we needed to take and when and what she was going to be doing. I didn't have specifics other than a west coast wedding theme in Tofino, so I gave her full freedom with design. She delivered the cake on time to the place we requested with a cutting diagram and everything (which I would never have thought of). The cake looked amazing and fit our theme PERFECTLY. I had so many compliments by guests on design and the quality of the taste and texture of the cake. It was clear the cake was of high quality. I can't wait to renew our vows or have another event to order cake from her again!

PS if you get a chance, do a cake tasting! All of the flavors are DELICIOUS.
