I prefer classically beautiful photographs that won't go out of style. The photos I deliver are vivid color or crisp black and whites.
Do you have experience shooting in various lighting situations?
I've done it all! Sunlight, candlelight, moonlight, and everything in between. I love the variety from week to week.
Is your media preference film or digital?
I shoot entirely digital.
How many photographers do you work with?
I always bring a second photographer to every wedding.
Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event?
Yes
Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend?
No, I reserve entire weekends for each wedding.
Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?
It's highly unlikely that I would become unavailable on a wedding day, but in the event of an emergency, I have many photographer friends who would be willing to help me. I'd do the same for them.
What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?
I bring a variety of camera bodies, lenses, lighting, and back-up equipment.
Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction?
Always
Do you charge hourly or full day?
I charge for the full day, with an option to add additional hours.
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
I take very few breaks, typically to eat a quick meal or grab some water.
Do you charge for travel?
I charge for travel out of the Denver/Boulder/Estes park areas. Travel expenses vary by destination.
How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing?
Proofs are ready about two to three weeks after the wedding.
In what format are the initial proofs offered?
The proofs are provided in an online gallery and on a DVD of high-resolution files.
How long can the client keep the proofs?
The DVD of high-resolution files is yours to keep.
Do you retain the copyright for the photos?
Yes, I retain copyright, but you receive personal usage rights to print and share the photos.
Do you reserve the right to publish the photos?
Yes, I reserve that right.
Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the client?
Yes, the digital files are included with every wedding package.
Will images be available for viewing online?
Yes, all the photos are available online as a convenience to you and your guests.
What kind of albums do you offer?
I offer a variety of beautiful, hand-crafted flushmount albums and fine art books.
When will the client get the final album?
The delivery of the album depends upon the time it takes for you to choose your photos.
