My husband and I chose the week of coordinator option for our wedding. Elyse was amazing; from meeting at the venue a week before the wedding, event timeline help, to assisting with the rehearsal walk through. She made everything run smoothly the day of the wedding from the ceremony to the reception. She is so easy to work with and made our day stress free and fun! Thank you for everything.

We found Ceylon Blu through the preferred vendor list at our venue, FivePine Lodge in Sisters, Oregon. I worked with Melissa, and we totally clicked on the phone. She seemed down to earth, professional and a good value, and that was totally true. We bought the "week of" coordination package, but Melissa was responsive throughout the year, offering advice on vendors & answering questions. We met with her at her studio in downtown Bend once in the winter, and she met us out at FivePine for a walk-through in March. Then our wedding was in May. We also rented ceremony chairs, a few bar tables & linens, tabletop decor (vases, mirrors & tea candles), various decor & seating chart holders from Melissa's rental company, Set In Your Way. It was super convenient to use Melissa for both, and everything looked great, simple & elegant, just as I had imagined. The day of the wedding was so smooth. Melissa was at the venue in the morning, setting up and coordinating deliveries. I could trust Melissa to handle everything and carry out my vision and it was AMAZING to not have to think of any of that on the day of the wedding. She was wonderful in a pinch, when I completely forgot to bring something to hold the flower petals for the flower girls and she somehow found a basket for them. She kept us on track & the event flowing, and I think all the guests had a terrific time. The one thing I would have done differently is to schedule more than an hour for the wedding rehearsal, which we held on Friday evening, just before the festivities began. We didn't have a wedding party going down the aisle, just the flower children and myself, but I felt like one more run through would have made the beginning of the ceremony go smoother. But besides that, everything was absolutely terrific and we are thrilled with how the day turned out. Melissa was a calming presence all throughout the planning and execution, and I would highly recommend her & Ceylon Blu.

Melissa and Rachel at Ceylon Blu did an amazing job making sure the time schedule of the day and the organization of the vendors went smoothly. I trusted Melissa's expert opinion and used her other business, Set in Your Ways, to handle a majority of the rentals. Her inventory of rentals is unique and allows the bride & groom to be more creative with the decor of their wedding.
