Frequently Asked Questions for Photography
Do you offer special techniques such as hand-coloring or toning?
I have a very wide range of techniques. I can provide Black & White, Sepia, Special effects (ex: warm glow, black & white with a touch of color), skin retouching, blur backgrounds, collages, you name it!
 
Is your media preference film or digital?
All of my events are shot with digital equipment only.
 
How many photographers do you work with?
Me, myself & I =) Although, for an extra fee, I am sometimes able to request the presence of another photographer.
 
Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event?
Yes. You can count on me!
 
Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend?
I will never book a second event on your big day!
 
Are you available to shoot extra hours? If yes, how much do you charge for extra hours?
I am available for overtime. Time will be billed at $100 per 1-60 minutes of extra shooting time.
 
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
Breaks? What breaks?!? If you take a break away from the action, I'll be right there capturing those memories.
 
How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing?
I like to send the happy couple a few random favorites via email within a few days after the wedding. You can expect your digital proofs to be ready for viewing within six weeks.
 
In what format are the initial proofs offered?
On the internet.
 
Do you retain the copyright for the photos?
I retain all copyrights. You will be given a CD with your final images along with a printing rights release. Although, I higly recommend professional printing and can show you the extreme difference between the two!
 
Do you reserve the right to publish the photos?
Yes
 
Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the client?
Yes
 
Will images be available for viewing online?
Yes
 
What kind of albums do you offer?
I offer proofbooks, Presentation Albums, Suede Cover Photo Books & Custom Photo Books. If you have any questions about the listed albums, feel free to ask!
 
When will the client get the final album?
The Presentation Albums, Suede Cover and Custom albums are all custom designed by me. These books will be completed within 8-12 weeks of the wedding. This time varies...

Tips and Advice
Book your dates as soon as possible! It’s a tough decision, I know! The Wedding and Reception location, Photographer, Catering, Entertainment,  Cake, Hair/Make-up Artist... etc. Save the decorating details until you have taken care of your key eliments. You won’t get the wedding you’ve dreamed of  until you have those things put in place ;)

Most importantly while making decisions... ALWAYS go with your gut instinct!

Make sure you have a signed contract with all of the details put in place. This way both parties are protected and there are no misunderstandings.

Make a list of every single must have photo and give it to your photographer as soon as possible.

Take a deep breath, relax, and enjoy the ride. This should be a special time between the soon to be Mr. & Mrs.!
