I actually used Cakes by Emy for a baby shower cake, not a wedding cake, but nonetheless... I contacted Emy about having a cake made for my sister's baby shower. The shower was in Fontana, Can but I am in Alabama. I told Emy what I wanted based on a picture- a 2 tier quilted cake with bow and ballerina slippers. I sent a deposit and the day of pickup, paid the remaining balance over the phone. Easy breezy. She sent me photos of the cake as I was unable to attend the party. The cake was beautiful and my sister reported the cake tasted great!! I'm a happy customer!

Emy had made me a birthday cake of a despicable me minion with a cake in front of it. It came out better than what I had imagined. Emy was friendly and very professional. Emy provided the cake I asked for. I ordered a cake for my sister's baby shower. Thing 1 and Thing 2 Theme. It super cute. Everyone at the party loved it. I would use her services again.

I will start by saying Emy made an amazing cake for my mothers 88th birthday. Needless to say, my mother was the star of the day and if there was a co-star it was Emy's cake. So now let me touch on the categories above.

Quality of Service: The quality is in the cake. Moist, delicious and pretty as a picture. Mom likes to garden so Emy created a cake that was a garden full of flowers in a yard with a white picket fence around it. And, as a treat for each guest to take home in a little butterfly box, she made cupcake flower pots. Lovely!

Responsiveness: As Emy and I talked about my mom she helped me develop a picture of just what I wanted and how she could bring it to life. In the end it was a genuine reflection of just who my mom was.

Professionalism: A true professional comes prepared to listen to and work with you. They do what they say they will do and bring in the project on time. Oh, and they don’t go over budget. Cakes By Emy did all that for me.

Value: Here I have to plead ignorance since I never ordered a cake like this before. As the popular advertisement says; the look of joy on your moms face, PRICELESS!

Flexibility: After my initial order Emy showed great patience as I would call to change some small detail like the wording on the cake or some not so small detail like I need an extra dozen cupcakes.

I contacted Emy by referral from a good friend and I am so glad that I called her. I e-mailed Emy 1 week before my daughters Sweet 16 Birthday party and I received a call from her within 5 minutes. Emy was very professional and very patient with my ideas. She is extremely creative with her cakes and quite the baker. I ordered a 2 tier Justin Bieber cake . The frosting was butter cream, the cake itself was chocolate cake with bavarian chocolate filling. The cake was very moist and the filling was delicious. The cake was so beautiful!! My daughter was the happiest girl on earth. I would recommend Emy to all my friends and family.
