I have been fascinated with photography since my parents gave me my first 126 camera when I was eight. My allowance was always spent developing all those photos of childhood friends and family pets. At fourteen, I knew I had to have a 35mm camera. My favorite subject in my teens became classic cars. In high school I took both yearbook and photography for electives. I enjoyed taking candid photos of other students and what a joy to be published in the yearbook! I worked in a photo lab as I put myself through the photography program at Houston Community College. I served an internship shooting for the "This Week" section of the Houston Chronicle. I graduated in 1988 with an Associate Degree in Photographic Technology.
An automotive career side tracked me for several years, but I still kept my interest in photography, working weddings on weekends for friends, family, and referred clients. Autos are a hobby now, and photography is my "main focus." (pun intended) I am very fortunate to have a caring husband who not only encourages me, but also shares my joy in photography. (my partner)
