They did a great job playing for our wedding! Sherry was very responsive and helpful when booking them. We were able to pick which songs we wanted to be played. We chose a string duo. They also have demos on their website of many of the songs. There are classical and contemporary songs to choose from. The music was very beautiful! I definitely recommend them!

We were so incredibly lucky to come across Sherry and An Elegant Touch of Strings for our wedding ceremony at SF City Hall. Since it is a government building, there are tons of guidelines to follow and specific instructions for the musicians. We were so fortunate to have Sherry and her talented team who regularly work at city hall and knew exactly what to expect. From the first time we reached out to her, Sherry worked with us to ensure all of the songs we wanted to play would be available and provided reasonable rates for any songs beyond their repertoire that we requested. On the day of the wedding, the musicians were absolutely incredible. They sounded fantastic and played all of the music we asked for - our guests were so impressed with how they sounded and how well they covered our songs. We could not thank them enough after the ceremony was over, and they were so kind, gracious and professional. From the list of vendors provided to us by City Hall, An Elegant Touch of Strings stuck out to us and we are forever grateful that they worked with us for our special day!

I highly recommend Sherry and her team! She is professional, easy-going and a joy to work with. My husband and I are both musicians and so music was an important part of our wedding. We loved how large the quartet’s repertoire is - for our pre-ceremony music, we were able to include a plethora of our favorite songs from classical pieces to hymns to movie soundtracks - all from their existing repertoire! We also had Sherry work with our Maid of Honor to arrange a custom string accompaniment to “When I Say I Do” by Matthew West, which my MOH sang during the ceremony. Early on in the wedding planning process we decided to have live strings at our ceremony. I researched many other strings vendors in the Bay Area and Elegant Touch of Strings were by far the most reasonably priced for the quality you get. It was so easy to communicate with Sherry (and as an anxious bride I really appreciated the super timely responses!) We had an incredibly wide selection of songs to choose from (both classic and modern) and you can easily see/preview them on their website. We went with a string trio for our outdoor 115 person wedding and the sound was divine! So thankful the guests had beautiful music to listen to while they waited for the ceremony to start. My bridal party walked down to them playing "Make You Feel My Love" and I walked down to "Halo" - they had such beautiful renditions and it definitely set the tone for all the tears during the ceremony! I received countless compliments from our guests young and old and they were even more shocked when I told them that they were far from the expensive price they were guessing. WOW!! We were absolutely blown away by Elegant Touch of Strings and they made our wedding ceremony absolutely perfect. We hired a string duo (violin and cello) which perfectly fit our 30-guest mini-wedding. Their music selection is extensive, and they have plenty of contemporary/pop songs on hand which totally fit the vibe of our wedding. My wedding party recognized a lot of their songs and were so entertained with the set list. I requested a specific song not on their list to be played for the bridal processional, and when I finally heard their arrangement when walking down the aisle, I immediately burst into tears, because it was everything I wanted for that special moment in my life. It was perfect. Throughout the whole process, Sherry was so accommodating and friendly with all our correspondence, and was extremely flexible when the pandemic hit and had change our wedding venue and time. You should 100% book them if you would like beautiful string music at your next event. I give them 1000 stars!

We had an Elegant Touch of Strings provide a string trio to play at our wedding at St. Mary's College in Moraga, and they were simply superb. From a medley of Beatles music as people were getting setup and settling in, to beautiful ceremony music, they also sounded wonderful. They were incredibly helpful and flexible in working with friends of ours who were singing during the ceremony, finding time to practice before our guests arrived to ensure they sounded like they'd been playing and singing together for years by the time the ceremony started!
