American Photographers is owned by Clint McLennan. Clint established the studio in 1996 although his journey in professional photography started much earlier.

As a respected and preferred photography group of seasoned professionals with over 2,000 weddings photographed, American Photographers consists of photographic specialists who are well experienced, caring, knowledgeable, creative, timely, and client oriented individuals, who strive to make your wedding day a wonderful, personal, comfortable, memorable experience, just as it should be.

Most recently, Clint McLennan has been selected to be included in the elite ranking for 2012-2013 of "Who's Who Among Professional Photographers". Clint is a Master Photographer and Certified Professional Photographer from the Professional Photographers of America (PPA), which is the largest professional photography association in the world. Clint has been awarded numberless "merit" images in the PPA National competition and has even had 4 images go into the prestigious Loan Collection. Clint has entered and won many awards from the Wedding And Portrait Photographers International and also from The Professional Photographers of Michigan and Detroit Professional Photographers Association. TOP 7 Master Photographers of Michigan and Past President of the Detroit Professional Photographers Association are a couple of the honors Clint has accumulated.

Clint loves to photograph weddings and people. Known for his comfortable and approachable personality, he understands and is able to easily connect, anticipate, and encase in photos, the wedding day as it unfolds naturally and organically: the anxious preparations, the intricate details, the symbolism of love, the only-on-your-wedding-day gaze of a couple in love, and the ever-present unspoken sentiments.

Clint is well know in the cultural communities: Italian, Greek, Chaldean, Jewish, Russian Orthodox, Macadonian Orthodox, Serb Orthodox, and more. Clint is a trusted specialist and second to none when it comes to large weddings (600 guests and up) and large wedding parties. Small weddings are a pleasure and everything in between and up to an over-the-top cultural wedding event.

Clint was remarried in 2012 in Manila, Philippines to Vina. Vina has 2 children, Vianica and Jhulian. Clint has 3 children from his first marriage: Julia, Anna, and Cian. Clint and Vina have welcomed into their home on 9-11-2013 a baby girl, Chanel.

When Clint and his family have free time, they love to boat and jetski on Lake St. Clair or hang out at a beach near Port Sanilac, Michigan where Clint went to high school.
