Alison is INCREDIBLE!!!! She's ridiculously talented, professional, and her photographs are so beautiful, we're getting to relive the most amazing day of my life over and over again with the same magic because of her expertise. She made us very comfortable to get the best shots and knew exactly what to do and when to capture the big moments. Best wedding photographer ever!!

Alison was a dream to work with. Her vision and style matches what my husband and I were looking for in our wedding photographs. Alison was so easy to work with leading up to and on the day of our wedding. She made all of the necessary photos smooth and easy and it seemed like she was everywhere, all night long. As soon as you get engaged and pick a wedding date book Alison Conklin Photography. If you want phenomenal wedding photos then you need to hire an exceptionally talented photographer. This was the part of my wedding that was most important to me. Your wedding pictures last a lifetime and can never be redone. I followed Alison’s work online before getting engaged and always had her name in the back of my mind for when the time came. I had seen work from other photographers in the area, but nothing came close to Alison’s. As soon as my wedding planner mentioned her name for my wedding I immediately jumped on it. Like people have said in other reviews go to her Instagram, Facebook page, Website and look at the the photos, that says it all. Not only does she capture beautiful moments in time, but the feelings as well. You feel something when you look at her photos. My husband, myself, and our families tear up looking at our photos. I have shown people who barely know my husband and I some of our photos and they too get emotional looking through them. They are just magical, there is no other way to describe it. The moments Alison and Geoff capture are truly special. They are also just wonderful people in general. We so enjoyed having them be a part of our wedding and hope to have them capture the special moments I our lives in the future.

This is a (belated!) review for our May 2018 wedding at St. Augustine & the Fairmount Park Horticulture Center. Alison was one of the first vendors I wanted to book (along with our venue and florist) and I'm so happy she was available for our day! The photos were definitely an investment but well worth it. She (and her husband Geoff) were super responsive, professional, quick with editing, and of course took beautiful timeless photos!
I'm not super comfortable posing for pictures but Alison managed to capture tons of photos that I love plus lots of wonderful pictures of details and our guests enjoying themselves. She has a very calming presence, which I definitely appreciated during the busy big day! My mom and other guests also commented on how great our photographer was - both on the wedding day and then again after seeing the photos.

We chose Alison Conklin Photography for our wedding after looking through many of the albums on her site and loving the "realness" of all of her shots, as well as all the many seemingly candid shots she featured. Compared to so many other photographers out there whose photos looked too staged, dramatic, whimsical, and otherwise unnatural for our taste, we were drawn to how Alison seemed to capture the beauty in the real moments, without having to manipulate much (if anything). We also aren't really people who take photos often, especially not professional photos, so we wanted to be able to recognize ourselves in our photos rather than having them be over-stylized. We got exactly what we were hoping for and MUCH more out of our photos by Alison and Geoff. Without intruding at all, or even seeming like they were there, she and Geoff beautifully captured our day from us getting ready with our bridal parties (including some gorgeous portrait-styles photos of our bridal parties), our ceremony (including great shots of our guests arriving and our dogs coming down the aisle), our formals, and our reception. As odd as it sounds to say, my favorites she took are the candids of our guests and our families! We obviously love all of the formal ones as well, but their candid shots of us throughout the day and our guests enjoying themselves truly make it feel like we're reliving our wedding day when we look back and see all the emotion they captured. This photography team is 100% professional from the initial contact, the communication throughout, punctuality in delivering the photos, and in "blending in" on the actual wedding day to not intrude upon all the day's events. We were blessed with a gorgeous wedding day to begin with, and we feel very fortunate to have hired Alison's team to capture it, as well. HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend to anyone in the market for a wedding photographer, or for photography for any special life event! We can't thank you enough, Alison and Geoff!

Let me tell you how, having Alison and Geoff shoot our wedding for us has been a dream of mine long before I met my husband! They are simply incredible. First of all, they work together so seamlessly and their vision and way of capturing the most amazing moments is a true talent. I can't say enough good things about them. They were so easy and accommodating and kept things stress free and FUN! I adore them and if you want to see just how amazing they are just look on the website and instagram. You will be so happy you chose them to capture this special day for you since you know it will be over in the blink of an eye. Also! All of the photos were shipped to us only 2 weeks after the wedding! Amazing :)

Alison and Geoff captured beautiful, real moments all throughout our wedding, and they have both been wonderful to work with. Alison was professional and polite all throughout the planning process for our engagement photos (which came out so well they were featured in The Knot magazine's Fall/Winter 2016 edition), and for our wedding night. In person, Alison has a fun, informal style so our photos weren't forced or posed, and she caught our candid moments with each other and with our friends and family.

In addition to being fun and easy to work with, she and Geoff both put in a lot of hard work that my wife and I greatly appreciated. On the day of our engagement photos, when we were already shooting just after sunrise, Alison had driven nearly an hour to get to us and arrived over an hour early! She wanted to make sure she didn't get caught in traffic and miss the time, and was ready right away. As a result, we had the perfect lighting with early morning sun and our pictures came out great.

And on the night of the wedding, Geoff and Alison were constantly on the move getting great pictures of our guests enjoying themselves. We were pleasantly surprised on our honeymoon, less than a week after the wedding, that they had already uploaded all the pictures and they looked amazing!

My wife and I are very happy with all of our photos, and are so glad to be able to re-live our special night with photos of so many joyful and loving moments with our friends and family. Thank you Alison and Geoff!

Alison and Geoff are hands down the best photographers! I first met them when they photographed my sister's wedding and knew I would book them for mine. Everything from my engagement shoot to my wedding came out absolutely stunning. They are the nicest people to work with and really capture everything so amazing. I highly recommend using Alison!

Alison and Geoff joined us for our wedding in Anguilla in November of 2015. I had admired their work after seeing them photograph several of my friends/acquaintances weddings. Once I got engaged I reached out to them and their friendliness, responsiveness, and overall excitement about being part of our day made working with them a no brainer. We had a blast shooting our engagement photos with Alison in Central Park - getting into row boats together would certainly help to break the ice, although there was really no ice to break as Alison was sweet as could be from the second we met her.

Once we got to Anguilla, Alison and Geoff were so flexible and went with the flow, not adding a single ounce of stress to our wedding. They were there capturing all of the intimate moments from our day but not intrusive at all. All of my friends and family who were getting ready with me were in love with Alison (and the guys would say the same about Geoff who spent the morning of the wedding with them). They are two of the most hard working people I've met on a professional level, putting out work that I find more impressive than the "top" names in NYC photography, while also being two of the most genuine, kind, and fun people to work with. In looking at our photos, we were reminded of moments that would otherwise likely be forgotten, but capture the joy from our day in a way I didn't think was possible in a single photo. We couldn't be more thrilled with Alison & Geoff's work and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone. There's no one else we would consider going to to capture the special moments in our life and look forward to working with them for a long time to come.

I can't say enough good things about Alison's photography skills. Her photographs speak for themselves. She captures all of the special moments in the most beautiful way. I love her candid style. Of all of our wedding decisions.. she is the one we are most thankful for!! Would highly recommend this very talented photographer!
