DJ Steve was very easy to work with, organized, and very versatile in his musical selections. On our wedding day, when needed, he could quickly get our guests to quiet down to move on to the next element of programming. But also had a great set list that he kept the dancefloor going through the night. Would highly recommend if he's available.

If you are looking at this review, trying to find a DJ - your search is over. Steve is your man. From the first phone call to the farewell at the wedding, he is the nicest, most down to earth, passionate for what he does, and a total pro. He is genuinely excited for your wedding. Every time you talk to him. His whole process makes it so easy to put together a playlist, including things NOT to play, and also breaks down everything you need to plan for in a super easy to follow form to make sure you have everything ready to go.

On top of that he is just fun to talk to and fun to be around, knows how to feel a room on what to play when, and every single cue, every special little moment we had planned, he nailed them all. No mistakes, perfectly planned and executed. Thank you Steve for being part of our special day, we’ll never forget it. Steve is the best, HIRE THIS MAN.

You know when you go to a wedding and you leave thinking that the DJ sounded generic, they didn’t play “your tunes” and the dance floor was stale? This was absolutely not the case with Steve! He was AMAZING and our guests all kept saying how great the DJ was. He played our requests at the exact right times, he had our processional, recessional father/daughter, mother/son songs all queued up perfectly and he felt out the crowd for what he played, all while playing exactly what we wanted and nothing we didn’t. I wish I lived in the area because I would hire Steve for every single party I hosted. BOOK HIM!

We highly recommend DJ Steve! From our first virtual meeting to the wedding day, Steve was professional, communicative, and meticulously organized. He kept on us schedule the day of the wedding and had everyone dancing until the end of the night! He listened carefully to what we wanted and made it all happen but he also knew how to read the room and go with what makes sense in the moment. All our guests loved his friendly, relaxed energy.

Steve (Virtuoso DJ Entertainment) was one of our favorite vendors to work with for our wedding. From the very beginning he was communicative, friendly, open to every last possible suggestion, and extremely helpful for us in planning an amazing party! In addition to his DJ services, he also rented and set up uplights for us at-cost, which gave our venue an extra fun ambiance. Day-of he went above and beyond to help record various parts of our ceremony and toasts (we provided the AV equipment, but he took care of helping to man the devices). Steve is chill and has the perfect personality as a DJ and MC. I cannot recommend him enough!

What can I say about Steve?? He is absolutely incredible! We loved working with him from the minute we met him until the last song on the dance floor. Steve was super personable and professional. Super responsive to emails and questions. He sent us an easy to use form that we could continually update with details about the wedding. I loved that he called us a few days before the wedding in order to recap all of the details and make sure everyone was on the same page. It made me feel so good to know I wouldn't have to worry about little details like that on our big day! Also his music choices were perfect! Literally all of our guests were on the dance floor all night and talked about how great the music was! Steve really made our wedding so perfect and kept the party going all night! Thank you SO much!

Steve was an incredible part of our wedding day!! Thanks to him, we were able to not be stressed out on our big day. He was a huge help with making sure our itinerary flowed according to the timeline we provided, and he communicated with our parents/best man/bridesmaids on being ready for their speeches. He made sure to get us when it came time for big events (bouquet/garter toss, games, last dance, etc) and was VERY thorough with how we wanted things done. If it were not for him, we would have been running around like headless chickens lol. After our wedding, all our guests kept complimenting how much they enjoyed our DJ and the songs he played! I cannot recommend Steve enough for being a professional and accommodating Emcee/DJ, not only on the day of, but being very detailed in the planning process too.

Choosing Steve as the DJ for our reception was one of the best choices we could have made! Even a month after our wedding, we still have guests contacting us to ask about our DJ (just in case they need someone for future events).

Steve took time to sit down with us and explain our music options/ strategies for selecting good music, to review our specific requests, and to walk us through a typical wedding reception timeline and plan. He assured us that the focus was to be on our wedding celebration and on family, and that his job was to keep the party going. He helped us plan wedding activities including grand entrance, special dances, bouquet toss, and the shoe game (which was a major hit with our guests!)

Steve was super professional and flexible when it came to planning and preparing for our reception, and he proactively reached out to our coordinator to make sure that the timeline would be classy, fun, and all around perfect! He adapted to last minute changes and surprises brought about by COVID (he wasn't even phased when it took us until 2 hours before our reception to tell him who would be giving the speeches.)

In addition to being our DJ, Steve was our violinist at cocktail hour! He covered all of our requests, from Frank Sinatra to classic Disney music. He created a seamless reception from outdoor cocktail hour through indoor dinner and dance floor, capturing the hearts of our guests of all ages. What we loved most about Steve’s approach to music is that he is VERY skilled at commanding the party and the dance floor without distracting from the focus of the event! He kept our adult guests dancing — to the point that I had guests who had planned to leave early for the night… They would hear the next song start, and they would race back out to the dance floor for another hour!!!

Steve was so involved in our planning, that he felt like a friend/ one of our guests! He even added a note in our guestbook. Needless to say, Virtuoso DJ Entertainment will be our number one pick for future events!
