Our daughter fell in love with a destination wedding site out of state; we had no contacts in SC, and no experience with the venue or vendors in the area. After interviewing several wedding planners recommended by the resort who we determined were not a good fit for us, I consulted Wedding Wire and was drawn to Beth Baldwin Weddings and her reviews. My husband and I had two goals we hoped to achieve in booking a wedding planner. The first being to experience peace of mind on wedding day, allowing ourselves and our families to fully embrace the day from beginning to end with no duties other than being fully present and enjoying every second. The Sapphire Package allowed us to work with Beth on focusing our priorities, securing vendor contracts for our wedding at Sea Pines, and executing our vision for a beautiful wedding day. Margaret was our day of coordinator, and she might know us as well as our wedding party after the care she took to ensure that the timeline reflected every moment we were hoping to capture or avoid, with the flexibility and personality to give us confidence in what’s best for us as a couple. Beth spent so much time to listen and keep us honest when our priorities and vision weren’t aligning or when she feared logistics may interfere with an experience, and it gave comfort knowing she always had our best interests in providing her perspectives, thoughts, and advice. Margaret made sure not an experience went missed or a vision not seen on wedding day. Margaret truly made it feel like we were living the dream wedding day we imagined, where all that mattered was our enjoyment and seeing everything come to life. Any time we explored a new vendor, there was an instant eagerness from the vendors to work with Beth and Margaret, and the rapport between our planners and the vendors allowed us to benefit time and time again on the seamless execution.
