Chris and Rhiannon 's Wedding in Fort Myers, Florida

The story of our wedding

Chris and I got married on a sunny Saturday afternoon in Fort Myers, Florida. Our ceremony took place at my home parish while our reception took place at the old, southern Florida charm venue, Cypress M Ranch. Our special day had a school-theme that we accented throughout the venue. We are both teachers and felt small touches of our personality would help to make our wedding extra special. I also incorporated personal touches to my day-of attire. My something old was my late great grandmother’s pearls. My something borrowed was my daughter’s headband that was used as my garter and showcased my Irish pride! My something blue was my white and blue Evil Eye bracelet which also showcased my family’s Turkish culture! During our reception we had a fire pit with a s’mores station and had a food truck provide donuts, both of which were a huge hit! Finally, we ended our amazing day with a sparkler send off!
