The story of our wedding
Brian and I got engaged in 2020 right after the start of the pandemic in an intimate, sweet moment during lockdown in our first apartment together in Savannah. I was in physician assistant school at the time and he was in paramedic school, we were relaxing at home making dinner when he surprised me by getting down on one knee and asking me to marry him. Unfortunately, our wedding was postponed for a good 3 years due to pandemic stress, school, and several moves during the start of our careers. Thankfully, our several years of waiting came to an end with a beautiful, small-sized, small-town barn wedding with a classic, romantic feel that was the fairytale of our dreams.
We got married on March 16, 2024, which was our 5-year dating anniversary, on a beautiful, sunny and mild day at Vanderwende Acres in Seaford, Delaware which felt absolutely perfect in every way. I wanted a "different" color scheme for our wedding, which incorporated dusty/cornflower blue reminiscent of cinderella, red through our primarily red rose flowers, white, and gold accents. We incorporated lots of floral and gold accents with a special emphasis on our three fur babies, our cats, and our families. It was a beautiful day full of love, laughter, tears, family and friends!
