About

Heartfelt, creative, inclusive, & joyous officiant!

Co-creating your wedding ceremony to uniquely reflect YOUR love story!

Are you a couple who believes...

  • Your wedding day will be a joyous intimate connection between you and your favoritest person in the whole world. You want your officiant to know you as a couple--sharing stories, values, sticky moments, hopes...working with someone who cares a ton about a deep relationship with couples sounds perfect.

  • You can’t wait to stand on top of that mountain and declare your love for each other, you’re just unsure about how to include your financee’s devoted Lutheran family and your culturally Jewish one.

  • You love your religious background, and just connect more to your own spirituality in nature. You can’t wait to honor both at your fully customized wedding.

  • You want all of those really cool Jewish symbols explained, or your interfaith beliefs illuminated, and eagerly await your whole fabulous, wacky family participating!

  • Receiving practical support around common relationship sticky spots, personal growth dreams, and creating a pre-wedding ritual in nature sound fantastic.

  • A ceremony that’s anything but stuffy--it's playful, lights you up, & celebrates interfaith & LGBTQ couples!

Details:

  • Getting to know couples more deeply and creating a ceremony that speaks to your ideals is a core part of my wedding process.

  • I meet 7-10 times with couples in order to create this personal relationship.

  • Conversations explore everything from how each of your similarities and differences strengthen your union, to financial decision making, crafting the wording for your wedding covenant, personal growth dreams, commitment to social justice, and how you envision celebrating holidays together.

  • Honored to officiate LGBTQ wedding ceremonies, I will help you create a ceremony that reflects your values as a couple. I am also a proud member of the LGBTQ community.

The best rabbi ever!

Our wedding day was truly a magical experience, and a significant part of that magic was woven by Rabbi Jessica Marshall. From the very beginning of our wedding planning journey to the moment we said our vows, Rabbi Marshall's personalized touch and unwavering support made all the difference.

Throughout the year of planning, our sessions with Rabbi Marshall felt like more than just wedding preparations; they were akin to therapeutic conversations filled with love and guidance. Her genuine care and thoughtful insights helped us navigate not only the logistics of our big day but also the deeper emotional aspects of our journey towards marriage.

On the day of our wedding, despite unexpected wind issues and occasional interruptions, Rabbi Marshall remained an epitome of professionalism, grace, and love. Her calm demeanor and unwavering commitment to our happiness were truly commendable. She created an atmosphere of love and sincerity that allowed us to fully immerse ourselves in the moment.

One of the most cherished parts of our wedding was the ketubah ceremony, guided by Rabbi Marshall. Her wisdom and expertise in this sacred tradition made it a profound and emotional experience. The happy tears flowed freely, and the love in the room was palpable.

We couldn't be more thankful to Rabbi Jessica Marshall for executing our dream wedding flawlessly and for being a guiding light throughout our journey towards marriage. Her presence and dedication added an extra layer of magic to our special day, and for that, we are eternally grateful.

Deeply Personal Ceremony!

Rabbi Marshall truly made our wedding planning journey and ceremony so incredibly special. She is so easy to connect with and helped us to dig deeper into ourselves as individuals and as a couple to enrich our relationship. Our ceremony was so personal and deeply routed in who we are as a couple. This translated and was felt whole heartedly throughout our ceremony. Rabbi Marshall went above and beyond to create a personalized ceremony that was unique to us. We can't wait to continue our relationship with her as we embark on this next chapter.

Non-Traditional, Personalized Jewish Elopement

Rabbi Marshall helped us plan a unique Jewish elopement that was perfect for and personalized to us. We are from Boston, MA and eloped in Boulder, CO; she came to visit us in person in Boston prior to our ceremony, which we really appreciate. Our Zoom classes were very meaningful and spiritual. We feel a strong connection with Rabbi Marshall and highly recommend her!
