Zoo bachelorette party!

Hithere, on June 21, 2020 at 9:13 PM Posted in Parties and Events 0 9
Looking for opinions on bachelorette party idea!

My MoH and I have been discussing ideas for my bachelorette party. I’m not really in to the generic ideas like bars, wine tasting, paint and drink style parties. I’m in to adventure and would like to do something a little more unique. We came up with the idea to rent a small party bus and go to the Toledo Zoo where we can pay to get an up close experience with the animals. Primarily see elephants up close and feed the red pandas. I think this would so much fun!! We also plan to do like safari themed balloons for inside the bus and I found animal print shirts that say bride and Bridesmaids on them and stuff. We figured we wouldn’t make people pay for the bus as I know that would be expensive and don’t expect them to pay that much for my party, We’re just planning to ask them to pay their way for the zoo and the excursions to see the animals up close which would be about $100 per person.
Just looking to see if you guys out there think this would be a fun way to spend a bachelorette party? And also Is that too much to ask people to spend $100 each?
Thank you!

Everyone is different! I think this is an amazing idea. Me personally would give my good kidney to feed a red panda, but others arent so much into live animal encounter. My advice is to ask the people you really want to go if it is something feasible to them.

Wow that sounds so cool! I wanted something like that for mine where we are on a safari bus on a winery tour and you can feed giraffes and other animals on the way but it didn’t go thru so instead we went horseback trail riding. It’s a cool experience honestly I would love it

I think that sounds like fun. I love going to the zoo. Even if some people don’t want to participate in the up close encounters they could still walk around the zoo with you, so there could be some flexibility in how much each person is being asked to spend.

...Um, can I come? That sounds like so much fun!

Honestly, I don't know what's better - meeting the elephants, or the red pandas!

(I'm like you, I'm not a drinking person, so my BP did Medieval Times. Nerdy and fun and silly, just my speed.)

I am also not a drinker, bar type of person. I love your idea of the zoo. It sounds so much fun. I would talk to the girls and see if 100$ is within their budget.

I know right!!! I’ve been up close to an elephant plenty. It is my brother’s favorite animal, so we did lots of elephant rides at traveling circuses growing up, but I would absolutely love to see a red panda up close.

I want to feed the red pandas and see elephants. If your BP truly know you they would know this is something that is totally you. i think $100 will be fine because they are paying for the experience.
