Hola ladies,

So, it just occurred to me that 3 months from now I'll have a totally new name and that I haven't practiced my new signature! 🙆🏾‍♀️ I loveeeee how I sign my name now, I've got like the perfect A that I took time crafting over my adult years lol. Now I'm going from Ash to Jackson and I'm not feeling my J's. I need more practice for sure 🤣

    I might have practiced my new name a couple of times. However, I’ve now been married over a year and I still struggle with my new last name lol.

    Women don't change their last names after marriage in about two-thirds of the world. I will not be changing my last name. Same autograph from cradle to grave for me

    I got very luck and my new last name still starts and ends with the same letters as my current name so my signature can stay K(insert scribbles here)S.

    It's been 3 1/2 years, and I still sometimes start to sign my maiden name (sigh). I also occasionally start to give my maiden name for appointments, etc.

    I didn't practice at all. I probably did somewhere within the 8 years of dating, but not seriously. So when I went to the DMV to renew my driver's license, the guy told me to sign with my new last name and I froze. It was so ugly! haha. Not that it matters, but it still bothers me that it looks like a child signed my license lol

    To be fair, I had my maiden name for 37 years, so maybe that has something to do with it, I don't know.

    I had whole conversation with friend about this I'm not at all against it I just had no clue it was thing... Makes since because I'm very original I'll literally put my birth name regardless but I lately been just writing it just to look at it 😂 and to help me not make that mistake after August.🤦
