Hi! We are doing the Wisconsin Winter Wedding! I'm nervous about potential weather and winter logistics in general, so any advice, ideas or other brides getting married in the Frozen Tundra welcome here!

Hey Alyssa!! Welcome to the WeddingWire community!!
Will you have to travel between your ceremony and reception venues, or are they being held in the same location? I would definitely leave extra time for any traveling that you will have to do as the weather will certainly impede any driving speed. I would also caution all of your vendors to leave extra travel time and to drive safely.
Winter weddings are absolutely stunning!! What is your dress like? Have you gotten a bridal jacket or coat for when you will be outside (if you are going to be!)
I bet your photos will be absolutely beautiful!!

Hello Alyssa. I’m getting married next winter Jan 2021. Our if curiousity where did you find your venue? I’m having a hard time finding a good winter venue.

Hi Carla! We didn't have any issues and everyone's dates were open. I'm surprised! Where are you getting married? We are in Green Bay, so it's a pretty big area with lots of options and we landed on a brewery with a large space for a party. If nothing is to be found on wedding wire, just go to google and start looking. Ask family and friends for suggestions, that helped us a lot!

I'm late to this post, but I am also getting married in Green Bay in January 2021! Still trying to decide on a venue thought! Fiance's family is from Manitowoc, and my family is from Green Bay, and we're leaning more toward Green Bay just because there are so many more options, but I feel like a lot of the main ones are so expensive!
