Winter bridal shower outfit for a guest?

I'm a bridesmaid and heavily involved in planning the shower for my friend. Now that it's coming up, I can't seem to find anything nice enough to wear in the winter in CT! Please help with ideas.

Hi Rica!! I'm also curious to when the shower is, because what I'd wear in February is a lot different then what I'd wear in March.
Regardless, my go to nice winter outfit is a dress with some leggings and booties. Keeps me wear and looks good to boot. If you've got a dress in one of your friends' wedding colors, that might be even better.

I think I nice sweater dress (perhaps turtleneck) with tights and heels or flats would look good! If you need to be warmer, then leggings and ankle boots. Hope this helps!
