Who pays for bachelorette party?

Anna, on March 18, 2019 at 3:14 PM Posted in Parties and Events 0 9
Hello all! Regarding the bachelorette party, who typically pays for that? Do the "guests" pay for themselves? Do the hosts pay for everyone? This is just out of curiosity. My bridal party is hosting a bachelorette weekend and I know they are covering costs for me, but I was wondering if other guests would typically pay for themselves? They plan to invite many of my friends who aren't in the bridal party and I know there will be a whole weekend of multiple events that people can pick and choose which things to attend. Thanks in advance!

Guests typically pay for themselves. If its a travel bachelorette, the bride typically pays for her travel and stay as well.

I think this depends on the group of people, but typically everyone pays for themselves (except the bride...unless otherwise stated).

Everyone I've been to usually guests pay for their own food & drinks & travel & hotel. I wasn't comfortable putting that extra money on the guests so I paid for my travel & hotel and I'll buy a dinner for everyone, as well as make favors.

I went to my friends bachelorette as a guest. It was in town and didn’t require travel. I bought my own dinner and drinks while out. But drank their alcohol while at the house. (I honsetly didn’t know what was planned so didn’t know if I should bring any 🤷‍♀️)
I didn’t chip in for the house or the stripper.
So, i think it depends on what is involved and who is attending.
I didn’t have a bachelorette so I have no thoughts from that perspective

Guests typically pay for the themselves and often chip in for the bride if they want to (but of course this is not required at all and the bride should expect to pay for herself unless someone else offers). For my bach weekend away, everyone is paying a share of the hotel room but my parents are actually giving us points for one of the two rooms to cut down on costs for everyone. Because my parents are doing this, my group won't let me contribute to the hotel anymore, but I was planning on paying a fair portion of the hotel until my mom offered that.

We're not doing much so my MOH has offered to pay for dinner and couple rounds of drinks. As a thank you I told my girls I'll rent us a hotel room (or two) downtown where we'll be that night.

Guest pay their portion, for mine we rented a cabin and everyone paid $20 to sleep there, everyone brought a bottle and mixer, snacks and then paid for their own dinner and drinks when we out.
