Which venue???

I’m super torn between having my reception and ceremony at Dunegrass country club in old Orchard Beach or at Village of the seas in Wells.


They are both about the same price point. I didn’t really envision having my wedding at a country club golf course but it’s really pretty and I have a beautiful deck and the ballroom is gorgeous and it’s like 15 K which I can afford. The food selection is better and, the wedding can last about an hour longer. It’s a two minute drive to the beach and I want sunset pictures at the beach.
My fiancé likes village of the seas, and I do too. It’s all inclusive and their packages are OK. It’s about $1000 less. Still have to book a DJ and pay for Photographer and rhe dress and the wedding bands.
Has anybody gotten married at either venue? Did you have good or bad experiences at either venue? I’m leaning towards Dunegrass, but I don’t really know why. Mostly the food seems better to me. And that’s the biggest expense. I just feel really stuck and I don’t know how to choose between the two venues. I need to make a decision soon. Help me please..
