I'm getting married soon and thinking about taking my wife's surname. Which sounds better to you, Carlo Martin or Carlo Petzer? Honest opinions welcome!

Great you can do that. Both names work nicely. Carlo Petzer seems a bit nicer with the strong P sound and the stronger ending.
