What to wear for work shower??

I’m having my bridal shower at work next week, and I’m not sure what to wear 😅 For context, I am an elementary teacher, and the shower is during the school day, so teachers will just drop by during their planning period or whenever they’re able, I will not be there the whole time. It’s kind of a setup in the teachers lounge. I know a teacher who had hers last year wore a cute white dress, but the white dress I ordered for my other bridal shower is kind of a cocktail dress, so it seems a little overkill to wear to work to teach children all day, lol. What would y’all recommend I wear? Maybe just a casual dress, not necessarily white?

    You don't need to wear white to every pre-wedding event. I would honestly just wear one of your cuter work-appropriate outfits and call it a day.

    Skip the white. Wear something cute you already own that is dressy casual.

    The internet will have you believe otherwise but many brides in real life don’t buy a new dress for every occasion, if any at all. Many don’t wear white either.

    I’m an elementary school teacher too! I hardly wear white because kids are always touching me or I will get something on me. I would just wear like floral top or a dress( maybe a little dressier than normal but nothing over the top) or whatever you feel most comfortable in. Maybe bride sash?

    Idk if I would out a lot of energy in a work shower. But perhaps a simple white sundress or a pant suit?

    Totally a personal preference if you want to wear white or not! You could definitely just wear something cute that you'd normally wear. If you do want to wear white, go for something that you'd be able to wear again. For mine, I'm thinking about a white sheath dress that I could toss a blazer or cardigan over for work after the wedding.

    My work shower will likely be a day that I already work so I'll probably be wearing scrubs. Wear a cute work outfit you normally would wear, if you want something white, maybe wear a white top with a skirt or something.

    I am a teacher too and all white in my class would not still be all white at the end of the day hahaha. Wear one of your fave work outfits if you want maybe you can incorporate your other wedding colors into your outfit. Have fun enjoy the shower!
