What to wear for engagement photoshoot

Our photoshoot is next month. It will be at a pond near our home with droopy trees and mini hills and a fountain. It has sentimental value because we go for walks here and it’s near our first home together. I would really like to wear a dress. I’m debating wearing white just to narrow down on my search. Perhaps a maxi? I figure I’ll stand out and I don’t have to worry about clashing with the scene or if I look too pale or something in whatever I choose. Thoughts on going with just a. White maxi or a flowy dress? I’m very pale and will most certainly have any last bit of summer glow gone by then
