What is or was your pre marriage living situation?

I was pretty much moved into his family home before our wedding. After our wedding it was the same. We are saving up for a home that I hope we can buy relatively soon

We bought our first home together 6 months after we started dating. We're hoping to sell and buy something larger a year or so after the wedding.

We live together now, and have for two years! Hoping to move into something bigger after the wedding!

Currently I'm living at home with my parents for the summer and will be back in my college dorm for my last semester and then once I graduate in December I'll be moving into my fiance's apartment so we will have lived together for 10 months leading up to the wedding. Our plan after the wedding is to save up for a house to move into as soon as we can but it'll probably be a year or two post me moving in with him before we get there.

We've lived together most of our relationship, started living with his family, then my family, then moving to our own apartment. Hopefully we can buy a house in the next few years! My one cousin didn't live with her now husband until after they were married though.

We bought our house almost two years ago. Lived together for over a year before that. Plan to buy larger home when expecting second child. (We will outgrow current home at that point.)

We purchased our first home together about 2 1/2 years after we started dating and moved into it together 3-4 months after that after we started renovations. We got engaged a year and a half later and married last October. This house was always meant to be our project and only for a couple of years, so now we're currently searching for a few acres of land to build our dream home on.

Congratulations! We bought a house last July (6 months after we got engaged) and have been renovating ever since! Prior to that, we lived together for 2.5 years in different house rentals. We plan to stay in this house for at least another 2-3 years!

We have been together since 2009 and lived together in fh childhood home since 2013.

His mom get sick in 2013 and had to go live at a facility so me and 3 of our friends moved into the house with fh to help with bills and stuff. We were only 18/19 at the time. Our friends lived with us for 2 years and then they all moved out and bought their own houses.

His mom passed away in Feb and the house is being put in his name soon (lots of paperwork and stuff to get straight). It's paid off, so soon after the wedding we will decide if we want to sell the house and move or just stay there.

We had lived together for nine years when we got married. Then again, as a same-sex couple, we couldn't legally get married for the first eight of those years.

We lived together for 2 years before getting married. We bought our house in the spring 2017 and moved in right away. We didn't have a reason not to live together.

My husband and I owned a house in the US but I was living in the DR before the wedding. Now we're living together.

We moved into our apartment a year ago. My mom wasn't thrilled but I couldn't afford a nice, safe place close to work on my own and I was tired of living with a roommate, she understood. We will continue to live there until after the wedding but it is very possible we get relocated for FH's job after we get married. His work has been really accommodating to not send him to Texas, Hawaii, or New York until after the wedding. If it was before the wedding I would not be able to afford to follow him or be able to afford our rent on my own, kind of a pickle.

We are 100 Days out and we have lived together for over 2 years now. Obviosuly after the wedding we will continue to live together but we will be looking for a house instead of the apartment we are in right now.

We were living with my family in my family home to help care for my grandmother before she passed. My grandmother requested that I get her portion of it and that if I were to get married to consider it my wedding gift.
My father intends to honor the request.

We currently live separately (about 4 hrs apart due to jobs). We are closing on a house in 2 weeks and I will be moving in two months after the wedding!

FH & I are more traditional. I own a condo and FH rents an apartment about 30 minutes away from me. Once we get married, FH will move into my condo. We're hoping to live there for a year or two after the wedding then buy a house!

We bought a home together last year and we plan on staying here for a while. I figure we'll live here about 10 years but FH calls it our "forever home".

My husband and I have been together for 5.5 years. We lived together for 3 before we got engaged, and 7 months after that we were married. I wouldn't have done it any other way.
