What are your thoughts on Marriage counseling?

I believe it is very helpful. We did serval sessions pretty much right after we got engaged and even though we didn’t have any issues prior it really did help open up more lines of communication and address some topics that we hadn’t thought about yet or that we just assumed we knew how certain things (like bills etc) would be handled.

My FH was the one who initiated the request that we go to pre-marital counseling. I went and wound up in tears the whole time. It helped me realize some of the things I had to work on. And helped him know we were on solid ground.

My husband and I did counseling with our pastor and it was very helpful
