We have the venue for 12hrs. But can only have the wedding and reception for 5 hrs. So we added 2 hrs, which was extra money (uggghhhh) so that our wedding and reception could last 7 hours. We didnt feel like 5 hours was enough time, especially since we really like to party lol and we have a lot of family to take pics with.
