ttc List/group 2020

Idk about any lists but we’re TTC. Still trying to figure out my cycles after going off birth control though so I’m struggling some right now and don’t have anyone to talk to about it. Good luck to you as well!

View Quoted Comment Yes I started charting my bbt in March just to practice. Since I’ve stopped bc at the end of April my temps have stayed mostly low and I don’t think I’ve gotten my spike/rise yet. My opks have shown high but not peak...last time I stopped bc it took 2 months to get my regular cycle back so maybe it will this time too. I just hate the uncertainty.

We are trying to and it’s been a month. Had a tele appointment yesterday and my gyno said relax and have fun. Go for sex every two days to allow sperm to recharge, start taking prénatals, eat healthy balanced diet and exercise. I didn’t realize sperm count goes down the more you have sex same day by 50% each time. Go figure lol. I’m on my period now but we’ll make another go for it this month. I’ve been off birth control since July last year and cycle is relatively regularly, but was late last two months probably because of stress. Hopefully, this month we have a good chance. We've been ttc since January, if this month doesn't work, I'll start tracking with ovulation kits. (A friend sent me her extras.)

My gyno said in November to start taking prenatals a month before ttc, sex every other day during fertile period, and try not to stress. We've been following this, but I may have contracted an uti this month.. when you're quarantined... uh... maybe we've been a little enthusiastic?

I'm sure there are lots of places on FB or reddit or other forums that may have a list!

I take out my Nuvaring tomorrow to start trying for baby #2! I used babycenter for my last pregnancy, I love that app and community. They have a ttc forum that is very supporting and informative! If you haven't checked it out already, I highly suggest! Good luck everyone!

Good luck tracking! We've decided to give it two months stress free trying withing fertile window, and then if it doesn't happen in the next two months, we will start tracking too along with basal temps! And sorry to be unclear - by list I meant that when I looked up ttc in the wedding wire discussions a lot of years past had posts that list the members ttc and they had their own ongoing thread, it was just interesting! Hadn't seen a post like that for current times so figured I'd start a discussion haha

View Quoted Comment Ugh!! The suspense is real! We had a birth control accident the other month and my bbt stayed elevated for 17dpo. I kept testing negative. My cycle started 3 days later than usual and my bbt finally went down the day after my cycle started. Way to get my hopes up! Its hard to not be bummed, but all you can do is try again!

Currently in the phase where I check Flo calendar, "yes, I should ovulate in one day!" (2 hours later) *checks calendar again to make sure I have the date right even tho I've checked 100 times* hahahaha because I don't temp or use OPKs yet we are going off of my logged periods from the last six months but who knows with getting off BC if that is accurate at all lol we'll see!
